The Sky Mansion Penthouse with Rooftop Pool

Some places you walk into and you just know. Honestly with this penthouse at Bugatti Residences by Binghatti in Business Bay it took me a minute to even say anything when I first stepped inside. You get out of the lift and all you see through those huge windows is Dubai. There is the Burj Khalifa right there almost so close you could touch it if you tried. You see the twisting lines of the canal as the sun starts to dip. Every direction gives you another bit of the city's best views. Downtown lights at night shimmer off the water. Sometimes I think you could just spend your evenings out on the terrace here with friends or family and never really want to go anywhere else. 

The official name is The Sky Mansion Penthouse which feels right when you are standing on the rooftop. There's a private rooftop pool up there and the day I visited it was just about the perfect temperature for a swim. You can hear a bit of the city from up high not noise really but that soft hum that means life is going on. The pool is only yours and honestly the feeling is pretty special. I stood by the edge and just watched boats drift by on the canal. At sunset you get a golden glow over everything. Sometimes birds pass so close to the terrace it almost feels like you could reach out and join them. 

There is a second pool as well back at the main living area so you sort of get to choose what kind of mood you are in. Spaces here are huge. The living room is the kind of place you want to just relax with music on and enjoy the space. You will also spot real marble floors underfoot. There is also a lot of polished natural wood so it never feels too cold or museum like. Bedrooms—there are four and they are not tucked away or tight. These are real suites with that gentle morning light coming in. The whole place has those floor to ceiling windows so the city is always there in the background almost a part of the home itself. 

Every time I see a kitchen here I get a bit hungry. The main kitchen is fitted out with everything you would want if you actually cook or just like to put snacks out when friends visit. Sometimes I see ultra luxury homes and think well who even uses this but here it actually feels like somewhere you would make big family breakfasts on weekends. There is a second smaller kitchen too if you like your guests to see only the neat one. Storage is easy and there is loads of it so even if you have lots of stuff you won't run out of room. 

There is an car lift built in which people always want to see, especially if cars are your thing. The practical things are covered too with a maid's room and a separate butler space. And if you work from home or want to sometimes shut the doors and focus there is an office that feels exactly right for that with its own view out over the city. Plus for downtime you have a gaming room and even your own cinema so you could make every movie night special without leaving home. The gym is there as well and you can even try a workout with the city glowing in front of you. 

Life here just feels easy. The beach is nearby and downtown is minutes away so you get the best of both sides of Dubai. Plenty of places to grab coffee if you need a break from it all. Weekends might mean wandering the canal paths or finding new spots for brunch. Even kids biking in the evening are not uncommon in the quieter parts of Business Bay.
