Some homes actually make you forget to check your phone for a bit. That is what happened when I first set foot into this five bedroom penthouse way up on the very top floor of Burj Vista in Downtown Dubai. You feel like you have left the city below and stepped into a kind of private sky sanctuary with all that light pouring in. Honestly I just stood by the window for a while and looked across at the Burj Khalifa. The view changes every minute as the sun shifts and at night you get those sparkling city lights right close enough that you spot people heading into Dubai Mall. There is more than two thousand square feet of terrace wrapped around the apartment up here which means wherever you go there is always some new angle on the skyline to catch your eye. Sometimes you even feel the breeze and it just makes you want to sit outside and watch the world for a bit.
The kitchen does not feel like one of those staged spaces you see in showrooms. It is glossy and new and it actually feels right if you do cook for real but also not at all out of place for just grabbing a coffee and catching up. The upgrades in the kitchen and bathrooms are these touches you will only see in Burj Vista and it shows. The appliances are all fitted in a way that keeps the main living space open and uncluttered. I really like that. It all feels very natural and easy which is hard to find in a home this size. When I walked further in I noticed how the whole lower floor is full of light because those floor to ceiling windows just do their thing. The living and dining space flows into each other and there is this half closed kitchen set up that keeps things connected but not too open.
It is practical too. You will find a laundry space tucked away and a proper maid's room down here. Even on the busiest morning there is enough room for everyone to move around without bumping into each other. Each side of the penthouse has two bedrooms with their own bathrooms and built in wardrobes. The master suite though is something else. You get a walk in closet like you would in a hotel and then there is this bathroom with real marble and a tub where you can look out straight across to the Burj Khalifa. No other word for it it feels special.
Heading up the stairs you will find the terrace opens out again and it is honestly made for hosting. I can just see friends getting together to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks or those famous light shows from the Burj right outside. There is also a family room up here with a little pantry for drinks or popcorn days. Plus you get a bonus room that actually works however you want it to. Someone once used it as a cinema. Could easily be a play room or an extra bedroom with its own bathroom so guests feel right at home.
Burj Vista really looks after residents. Morning laps in the pool have some of the best views in Dubai and the gym actually feels inviting not intimidating. There is a games room and even tennis courts where you sometimes hear laughter on late afternoons. And being just steps from Dubai Mall and Dubai Opera means you honestly will not use your car that much. The local coffee shop is nearby and you will see families walking the boulevard most evenings.
These apartments do not come around often. You will know if this is your kind of home when you step in and feel it for yourself. If you want to talk details or just see it in person reach out. At LuxuryProperty.com we want every move to feel a little bit more comfortable and real.
