Some places just slow you down the minute you step in. This six bedroom penthouse at Boulevard Point in Downtown Dubai honestly does that. Before I even got going on a proper tour I just stood at the windows for a bit soaking up all that sun and looking at the Burj Khalifa from what feels like your very own private show. You really are right in the thick of Downtown but without the crowds and bustle that you sometimes get down on the street. Up here everything feels open and light and just a little bit exclusive.
I'll be real this penthouse is huge. We are talking about seven thousand square feet with three floors and ceilings higher than you probably expect. I noticed straight off it is not one of those overly fancy show places you sometimes see. It is just big and comfortable with real living spaces that make sense. On the ground floor you have two guest bedrooms off to the side and both are genuinely roomy with big windows. Makes it easy to imagine family or friends coming to stay or even having a quieter work space at home tucked away from the main living areas.
The heart of the home is the main living and dining area which I am told works just as well for a weekend get together as it does if you want to keep things calm and cosy. When the light comes in through the bay windows in the afternoon it turns everything gold for a while and honestly I found myself just gazing out over the city for a bit. The transition to the outdoors is actually usable which is not always the case here in Dubai. There is a balcony you will actually want to set up for Saturday breakfasts or a quiet evening watching the city lights. You get a surprising breeze sometimes and for a high floor that is a nice surprise.
The kitchen is not tucked away. It feels like somewhere you would want to cook and not just heat up delivery. There's smart storage for all your stuff and enough room to move around. You feel like it is set up for real life.
Head upstairs either by the stairs or the lift and you will get to my favorite spot. There is a sort of hideaway up there where you have a billiards room that opens onto the rooftop terrace. This floor feels private, almost secret. In the evening the Burj Khalifa lights up right in front of you. Sometimes the Dubai Fountains go off and you just catch it all from your own home. I think this is where you could have friends over for a chilled night in or just find a chair, grab a blanket and somehow forget what time it is. There is enough space up here for anything from rooftop yoga to just sprawling out with a book.
Boulevard Point itself has a good reputation for a reason. The building is looked after and the lobby feels more like a hotel than an apartment block. You get access to a pool where the loungers are usually free and there is a gym with all the new equipment you need. Every now and then you see kids in the pool after school and neighbors out for a walk. Groceries are easy because Dubai Mall is basically next door. I have wandered down for a late night snack or just to pick up something small and it is almost funny how quickly you get there.
What stuck with me most was how easy everything felt. You have real privacy and space which you do not always get in Downtown and at the same time the whole city is right there if you want it. The penthouse is unfurnished at the moment so you can actually make it your own which is a plus. Light, space, city views, and a kitchen that wants to be used. Enough bedrooms for everyone and plenty of corners for quiet or for fun.
Honestly photos can only show you so much. Sometimes you just need to walk through a place and see if it clicks. Feel free to reach out if you want a look or even just want to talk about life at Boulevard Point. At LuxuryProperty.com we are here to help you find a place where life just fits.
