Some places just sort of invite you to slow down as soon as you step inside. This studio apartment at La Sirene in La Mer really does that. The first time I walked in, I found myself wandering over to the window right away. You cannot help it. To me, this studio is perfect for someone who wants an easy daily life but with a little splash of luxury. It is not so big you lose track of time cleaning but not cramped either. It is these little things that grow on you. The gentle sound of water outside sometimes, or the way the marina sparkles at sunset. The community just has its own quiet rhythm and if you want to join in, you can. If you want to just close the door and unwind, it works just as well.
