Some homes really slow you down in the best way. This two bedroom apartment in Al Andalus Tower D at Jumeirah Golf Estates did that for me the minute I walked in. Something about the light and the slightly earthy colors mixed with that blue and orange just feels good. It almost makes you forget there is a world outside. You look around and start picturing your shoes by the door or maybe you see the coffee table with some books and a cup of coffee waiting for you in the morning sun.
Al Andalus is one of those places where the architecture actually feels like it belongs here. The terracotta rooftops catch the light late in the day and all those archways make the whole place feel peaceful. There is this quiet buzz too with kids sometimes riding bikes on the walkways. Even if you do not play golf you will feel how green everything is when you walk around the gardens. The landscaping is not just for show. It really does make you stop for a minute and breathe.
Inside this apartment you get an open plan space that seems to make hosting friends seem easy. You do not feel walled in at all. The floor to ceiling windows are probably my favorite part because you wake up and you see the view and that little bit of green just makes the day start right. Some mornings you can watch the sun hit the golf course and the birds just sort of drift along the grass. The living area could fit a big sofa or even just a cozy spot for two. The layout feels like you could actually cook real meals in the kitchen and it all connects so you are never cut off from the rest of the apartment.
You get two bedrooms that both feel private with enough storage to keep things out of sight. The master really is its own little corner with wide windows and room for a soft chair if you like quiet reading nights. The colors keep everything feeling calm but not boring. There is a bit of that Spanish flair but it is never heavy handed. Honestly I think it feels easy to just live here and not worry about how things look all the time. You do not get that uptight feeling some new places have.
The building itself is part of what makes Al Andalus Tower D so comfortable. You are never far from a good coffee at the lounge. There is a gym that people actually use plus a steam room and a swimming pool that feels almost private even on a weekend. If you are the sporty type the tennis courts and aerobics studio are right on hand. Of course Jumeirah Golf Estates is famous for the two Greg Norman courses and sometimes you will see the pros at the DP World Tour final on the Earth course in November. Even if you are not a golfer it does make the area lively and brings a real community feeling during those tournaments.
People who live in Jumeirah Golf Estates will tell you the lifestyle is different here. The shops are just close enough. You see neighbors heading out for a walk or families loading up for a day at the pool. The security is always around but never gets in your way. And if you work in Dubai Marina or Downtown the road links make the trip feel easy. Honestly I think a lot of folks discover this place and just do not want to leave.
I could keep talking about square feet and numbers but the truth is you have to step inside. Take five minutes to look around and let it settle. The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you have any questions or just want to walk through and get a feel for it reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to make your next move feel as comfortable as possible.
