Some places just slow you down the minute you walk in. This three bedroom apartment at Marsa Plaza in Dubai Festival City really hit me that way. I think it is something about the light pouring in from those tall windows and the hush that comes with being up above the city. Standing by the balcony you get this wide sweep of the creek and the skyline. Busy Dubai is there in front of you but it feels peaceful here. You would not believe how quiet it gets sometimes even with Festival City just around the corner.
The living room feels open enough for everyone to spread out without stepping all over each other. I tried out a few spots by the window and honestly that is where I would put a reading chair or just somewhere to watch the boats on the creek with a bit of coffee in the morning. There is a real sense of space here thanks to the way the whole apartment is laid out. Three bedrooms means there is enough for a family or even if you just want one as a study or a guest room for friends who always end up staying late and never actually want to leave.
The kitchen is actually one where I could see someone really cooking. Not just microwaving leftovers but properly cooking with space to lay things out and good appliances all set up. Someone told me it is fully fitted so you do not have to stress over adding anything major. Even putting groceries away feels easy here since there is room for everything.
One thing you will probably notice if you spend a little time is how calm it feels even with all the amenities right there. Marsa Plaza is built for easy living. There are swimming pools outside. I noticed a couple of families actually spending half the afternoon there while I was walking around to get a feel for the place. There are fitness spots here too. The gym is much bigger than you would expect and it looks out over the city. Not a bad place to try and stick to a workout routine. Plus the area around Festival City means you have markets coffee places lots of restaurants and the mall all really close. Sometimes you can hear faint music drifting over from somewhere in the evenings. People who live here say you start recognising neighbours on the lifts after a while and it becomes its own kind of small neighbourhood even with all the tall buildings around.
Honestly it would work for a family just as easily as for someone single or a couple wanting space. The Intercontinental manages things here so you have that hotel level service if you want but it mostly just feels relaxed. Security at the desk is friendly and you sort of get the sense they really look out for everyone who comes in and out. It takes the stress off day to day living.
If you are looking for a three bedroom apartment in Dubai Festival City with a proper city view this place does tick a lot of boxes without trying too hard. You are getting lots of space about two thousand three hundred and fifty four square feet so rooms never feel cramped. You look out over the historic Dubai Creek which is always changing as the sun moves. I caught a couple of birds circling overhead and it felt more like a little escape than anything else.
You can walk down to the waterfront pretty much any evening. Kids play outside. People jog. It is a real community but also gives you that little bit of privacy we all like. Owning here just means you step out and everything you need is nearby but inside it stays calm and you can just be yourself.
Honestly apartments like this do not come up as often as you would think and it might surprise you how peaceful it gets here.
