I stood by the windows for a bit just taking in all the sky the way Downtown seems to go on forever and then there it is the Burj Khalifa right outside. You see people down below living their city lives but way up on the thirtieth floor it all feels a little quieter and a lot more peaceful.

If you've got kids you'll see other families coming and going with scooters and there are both indoor and outdoor play areas so nobody argues about being inside or outside, even when it's hot. There are tennis courts and a barbecue space where folks get together in the evenings sometimes with the smells drifting in from open windows.

The Dubai Mall is so close you almost forget you're not inside it and the metro stop is right there, you barely have to plan ahead just to get around. Some evenings you'll find yourself wandering out just because you can – whether that's for dinner with friends or just a coffee from one of the local cafes. Sometimes you see people out walking after dark it just feels easy and kind of safe.

Honestly these are the parts that make it feel like more than an apartment. It's a real home in the heart of Downtown with all the buzz you could want when you want it and space to disappear when you do not.
