Some homes just have a certain feel as soon as you step inside. This three bedroom apartment at Marquise Square in Business Bay pulled me in right away. Maybe it was the sunlight that spills in from those tall windows in the living room or maybe it is just the energy you get from being this close to Burj Khalifa Street. You notice it almost before you even take in the view. Honestly the first thing I did was walk over to the balcony and just stand there for a moment. That Burj Khalifa skyline is right up close and it never really gets old. Sometimes the city below feels full of life and sometimes it almost feels quiet up here like you're just out of reach from all that rush. It is like pressing pause on the world below which is something you do not get every day in Dubai.
Inside the apartment feels open and airy. The built up area is generous at about sixteen hundred eighty nine square feet so you actually get space to stretch out. The layout just works and you really can feel it when you are walking from one room to the next. That open plan living and dining space is the kind where you could see a real family dinner on a Sunday or even just friends lounging on a Friday night. There is so much space to breathe you will end up staying in just to enjoy it. The kitchen is not just for looks it feels like a real kitchen for cooking not just heating something up after work. I could see myself making breakfast here with coffee brewing while the city wakes up over those endless towers outside. There are plenty of built in cabinets and honestly storage is just something you do not have to think about.
When I peeked into the bedrooms the master was my favourite part. It has its own private terrace which is kind of a hidden spot above everything else. I can actually picture reading a book out there completely relaxed. You are high above the city but it feels like your own little bit of quiet. The other two bedrooms each have their own bathrooms which is just one of those practical things you are glad is here once you start living. The en suite bedrooms mean no one is lining up for the shower if you have kids or guests. Each one gets that same Dubai skyline glow through big windows and honestly at certain times of day the light just fills every room. The view of Burj Khalifa right from your own window is not something that gets boring trust me.
The building itself at Marquise Square is in a great spot. Business Bay is always moving. People are out by the cafes or just walking down the street but it never really feels too busy at home. There is an actual community here which might catch you off guard. You always spot someone coming back from a workout or chatting by the entrance. Sometimes you see kids biking around on weekends which is always a good sign. Downstairs there is always a coffee shop just a few steps away so you are never far from a good cup or a friendly chat. Dubai Mall is close so if you feel like shopping or seeing the fountains you are basically there almost as soon as you decide to go. DIFC is just a couple blocks away so if you work nearby your mornings just got a whole lot simpler.
The thing that feels rare to me is that this apartment is comfortable not just stylish. Day to day living feels easy. Storage is proper and you actually have a usable laundry room where nothing feels cramped. The building is well managed and I have talked to a few people who have never wanted to move since they first arrived. Honestly that says a lot. Sometimes you will walk by in the mornings and see neighbors heading to the gym or just relaxing in the lounge. There is a good balance here between city excitement and that softer home feeling.
You can read all the details and look at every photo online but honestly the way the light lands in the living room and how quiet it gets above the street is something you have to feel for yourself.
