There is a certain kind of peace you get when you find the right spot and honestly this one bedroom apartment at I Love Florence in Business Bay surprised me in the best way. The first time I stepped inside I just sort of stood there for a second. Maybe it was the light coming through those wide windows or maybe just the easy flow from the entrance right into the big living space but it felt good right away. People talk about Dubai's fast life and all the energy and you do feel that buzz around here but when the door closes behind you this place just sort of breathes differently.
The details in here really matter. You can tell Roberto Cavalli had fun putting his stamp on this place. It is not over the top. It is exactly enough. The finishes all smooth and real. That wall with the little gold touches caught my eye more than once and even the tiles felt a bit warmer underfoot than I expected. It has a way of feeling fresh without trying too hard. Sometimes you get places where the kitchen just looks nice in photos but here you actually want to try some cooking instead of just ordering from Zomato again. The layout makes sense too. You get an open kitchen which feels like the heart of the home for once. I stood by the big window by the dining corner and just watched the canal for a little bit. Sun hits the water in the mornings out there and it has a way of slowing things down for a minute before the city wakes up again.
You have a full bedroom here with plenty of closet space. The room faces more green than glass so when you pull the curtains in the morning you get to watch birds sometimes or people jogging by the canal. It is bright but somehow you never get direct glare so you can actually sleep in on weekends which is underrated. Bathroom is that clean hotel style but with better lighting. Honestly it just feels easy to unwind in here after a long day at work. Sometimes I just run the water for a bath and let the noise from the city fade out completely.
The building itself is right along the Dubai Water Canal. One of the nicest things is the way the boardwalk gets busy in the evenings with families and folks just strolling. On Saturdays you might see a group of cyclists or kids biking slowly near the cafes. The vibe is just good without being loud. You are in the thick of Business Bay which means you can walk to Downtown Dubai in a few minutes or catch a cab almost anywhere. Burj Khalifa and Dubai Opera are so close you can actually hear the concerts on clear nights if you keep the window open just a little.
Amenities make life feel a bit easier here. So there is a big pool with nice deck chairs and the gym is one of the better ones I have seen in this area. Not too packed either. A couple of retail shops right below and a coffee place that does a solid croissant. Never far from fresh bread or a quick espresso. Everything you might need is just downstairs or a short walk along the canal. I met a neighbor walking her dog there and she told me she has lived in the building for years which says something.
Honestly living at I Love Florence means you get that sense of calm in the middle of Dubai's energy. You are never far from the action but get a proper space to breathe. The only way to know if this one bedroom apartment in Business Bay really feels right is to come have a look yourself. If you want to pop by for a chat or just check it out sometime let me know.
