Some places just make you want to stop and breathe for a moment. You get that right away when you step into this two bedroom apartment at The Fairmont Palm Residences on Palm Jumeirah. I honestly could not help but wander right out to the balcony before looking at anything else. It is that kind of space. The balcony wraps around a corner so you really get these full views of the pool and you can even peek some of the community stretching out towards the sea if you stand in just the right spot. Mornings here must be something special. You can just imagine cracking open the doors from the lounge or even straight from either bedroom while you wake up. Palm trees everywhere birds making a racket but in a nice way. You pick up that relaxed Palm Jumeirah lifestyle right away.

Inside feels big. Not oversized but comfortable and open. The lounge has a bit of that echo sometimes because it is so bright. The natural light in here just floods in all day and you will get different shadows in the afternoon that somehow makes it feel really peaceful. I think people usually want a semi open kitchen for a reason and you get that here. It is a nice spot to cook for real or just have coffee waiting for you after a lazy morning. You would actually use this kitchen not just look at it. And then you have the dining area that feels sort of connected but not all in one space. Makes it better for having friends over or just stretching out with a book.

Both bedrooms have those fitted wardrobes so you are not needing to worry about storage. The master is especially nice. You can literally roll out of bed onto the balcony or just lean out to check the weather before you dress. It just feels easy. Sometimes you see all the little ones running around and parents having a chat by the benches. The pool is always calling too and you notice most people here seem happy to swap the gym for a swim once in a while. You get underground parking so no fighting for space. There are some little shops tucked in around the entrance which is great when you need something last minute. Security here is always around but honestly after a while you barely notice them because it just feels that safe.

Getting out and about could not be easier from here. If you feel like adventuring off the Palm the metro is just a couple minutes walk. Some days you probably would not want to go anywhere though because most things you need are right here. Sometimes I catch myself thinking how much this place would just make daily life a little bit simpler.
