Sometimes you step into a place and it just feels calm right away. That is what happened when I first walked into this two bedroom apartment at Mudon Views in Mudon. The air is a little bit lighter and it feels like you have found yourself in a part of Dubai where you do not have to rush. There is something about being on the podium level that makes life smoother here. You can just head downstairs without worrying about elevators and you are right next to all the good things. Pools and the gym are steps away so if you get in the habit of swimming in the evening or forgetting your water bottle after a quick workout it is honestly no big deal.

The living area is all open and when the afternoon light comes in through those floor to ceiling windows everything just looks brighter. I remember leaning on the kitchen counter for a bit and thinking this kitchen actually feels like somewhere you can make breakfast without bumping into everything or just heat up leftovers from last night without making a mess. The pool is big and always seems to be surrounded by this lush greenery that smells really fresh after it rains. There is a play area for kids right nearby so you might see little ones running around while you relax with a coffee out on the podium. The gym has everything you would expect so if you ever want to pop down for a quick session in the morning or evening you can. On weekends you will see folks taking advantage of the park with its running track and outdoor gym plus all sorts of courts for tennis and basketball. There is even a spot for smaller kids to climb and play which is nice for families.

What makes living in Mudon really easy are the little things you notice when you actually spend some time here. The Mudon Al Salam Town Centre is close by and it has a Vitalite Health and Wellness Center which a lot of locals love. There is a Fitness First gym for more workouts plus cafes and restaurants when you do not feel like cooking. The Geant Supermarket is always open when you suddenly remember you need something last minute and the coffee shop is never too far if you like to start your day with a latte.

Even with all that you are only a short drive from Dubai's bigger attractions which is surprisingly handy. You are close to Al Qudra Road and Hessa Street so getting to other spots in the city just feels quick instead of stressful. It is sometimes easy to forget you are in one of Dubai's most connected neighborhoods when you hear birds outside your window in the morning.
