Some places just instantly feel like somewhere you could get comfortable. That is what happened to me in this two bedroom apartment at La Riviera Apartments in Jumeirah Village Circle. I remember standing in the entryway for a minute just noticing the light. There is just so much of it in here. The big glass windows are not just for show either. When the morning sun comes in, or even the softer glow in the afternoon, the whole place seems to sort of soften up and it is just easy to take a breath. You do not always notice what a difference that makes until you are actually here.

The layout is pretty practical, which always stands out to me. The semi open kitchen sits just around the corner as you walk in. It is not closed off but there is enough wall to keep the noise down if someone is watching a movie or chatting at the dining table. This kitchen actually feels like a spot you would cook a real meal, not just somewhere to pop a frozen pizza in the oven and leave again. The whole La Riviera community at Jumeirah Village Circle has a nice energy to it. There is a mix of cafes, a few fresh bakeries not far, and getting basic shopping done is just easy. You see a lot of people walking to parks or heading out in the evening, and the schools nearby are some families' real favorite thing. You can get anywhere in Dubai within a drive, but honestly, day to day, you might find you stay close.
