Some places just slow you down before you even step inside. I had that moment standing at the door of this one bedroom apartment up on a high floor in Dubai Star Tower. There is something about being tucked up above Jumeirah Lake Towers with all that light coming in and the sea stretching out in the distance. The view just kind of invites you to pause for a second. You can see a lot from up here Dubai Marina curving around you off to the side the buzz of the city below and those blue water views that make mornings feel easier.
When you walk in the first thing you notice is how open it feels. There is a big living space not boxed in at all and the kitchen just folds right into it which I always think is nicer than a wall separating everyone. I actually stood out on the balcony for a while and noticed how the sounds shift up here everything seems softer. You get a real feeling of space in this apartment which is not always the case with one bedroom places. The kitchen here actually feels like somewhere you might try cooking something new even if you usually end up ordering in. The cabinets look sharp and you would still have room to move around without bumping into someone reaching for coffee in the morning.
If you like having friends over or just spreading out for a bit you will appreciate how the main area flows into the balcony. That is really where you catch the breeze off the lake and watch people out on the promenade in the evenings. Sometimes you see couples walking and every now and then a kid on a bike whizzing past. The balcony almost becomes another room in the cooler months. I found myself just leaning on the rail and getting lost in the view for a while so you might too.
The bedroom is generous for a one bedroom home. With the way the windows are set you wake up and there is just blue sky and city beyond. The en suite bathroom is actually spacious not an afterthought you can spread out with your morning routine without feeling squished. The closet space is better than you might expect too nothing fancy just practical and usable.
Living in Dubai Star Tower you get access to a gym that looks out over the city and a pool that catches the morning sun. I watched a few people swimming laps and it really felt quieter than most places not crowded at all which is a nice bonus if you work odd hours or like a peaceful start to the day. The building is modern but it is not showy. It just feels easy to live in.
Day to day things work out in this spot. You are moments from the heart of Jumeirah Lake Towers so if you need a quick coffee or a late dinner out those options are just down at promenade level. There are small local markets handy for last minute groceries and plenty of cafes if you like a slow morning to yourself. Honestly you could get by without a car but if you have one you are right on Sheikh Zayed Road so getting to the beach or downtown is just simple.
This place would suit someone looking for an easy Dubai lifestyle. You get the views you want and the city at your doorstep but you also get quiet when you come home. You kind of get the best of both. It feels more like a real home than just a stopover apartment.
If you are curious or want to see the view yourself let me know. There is really no substitute for stepping out onto the balcony and seeing if it feels right. At LuxuryProperty.com we are always here to help you find the place that feels best for you so reach out any time.
