Some places just make you slow your step and look around when you walk in, and this two bedroom apartment at The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa really does that. I spent a bit of extra time looking out through the big glass windows here and honestly, it is hard not to get a bit distracted by those endless views over Jumeirah Beach and all the way to Bluewaters Island. You get that sense of calm almost right away, with the sea breezes and that soft buzz from the city outside, but never too close.
This apartment feels spacious in a way that actually makes sense. The open plan living area has this relaxed air that makes it easy to imagine having friends over or just stretching out on a weekday night. You can picture kids crashing on the floor with their games, or maybe you reading by the window because the light is just right around midmorning. The kitchen does not pretend to be a showpiece. It feels like somewhere you would cook a meal from scratch if you wanted to, and you would still have room to move. There is storage tucked away sensibly too so nothing feels cramped or cluttered.
Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which always feels like a bit of a treat, especially if you have guests or family staying. You will notice that the bathrooms have clean, simple lines and premium fittings, but nothing is over the top. It just feels easy to use, with space for your stuff and a sense that you are not on top of each other. I saw the view from the master bedroom and it is something you do not get tired of. It sort of invites you to wake up a bit slower on weekends or take in the sunset after work with a coffee or something stronger.
The Address Jumeirah is one of those buildings you always spot when driving along the shore. There are seventy seven floors here, and yet when you are up in the apartment, everything feels private and quiet. Plus, the lobby itself has this gentle energy, with people coming in from long walks along the promenade or parents shepherding sandy kids back from the beach. It is pretty lively, but not overwhelming. One of the small things I really like is just how close everything is. You are basically on the doorstep of Jumeirah Beach, and it is not unusual to see families heading down with their towels and chairs in the morning. The Bluewaters Island view is always there too, and at night the lights make for a pretty cool backdrop.
You also have access to probably the most jaw dropping infinity pool in Dubai. I stood at the edge just looking out and you really do feel like you are floating above the whole marina. Guinness World Records gave it the nod for being the highest in the world, and honestly it deserves the hype. Then there are all the restaurants right in the building. Sometimes it feels like you never have to plan too far ahead. Coffee spots are never far and if you happen to work late you will still have things open when you come home. Plus, you always feel a bit connected to what is happening around the area, which can be rare in such a big city.
Even though the place comes unfurnished, you get that clean slate feeling where you can picture your own stuff fitting in. The walls still feel fresh and every room is well lit, so you can come in and just add your own touch without having to do too much. People who live here seem to really use the place, whether it is a winter getaway or somewhere they want long term. The community feels a bit more real than some other places. Sometimes early in the mornings there are runners heading down the corniche and in the evenings you might see teenagers lounging in the grass with their music.
This apartment is for rent, so you can try it and see how it fits your life. Like I always say, you only know the feel of a place once you have walked around in it yourself.
