Some places just feel like a real home before you have even put the key in the door. I get that a lot with Green Community East. This one bedroom apartment at Lake Apartments, for rent right now, has that same easy feeling as soon as you walk in. Maybe it is the way the light comes through the windows in the afternoon or just the sound of birds in the garden. Honestly, sometimes you almost want to just stay out on the balcony all day.
So the apartment itself is pretty spacious for a one bedroom. Around 968 square feet, so you can fit real furniture and still have space to breathe. The first thing you notice when you come in is how open everything feels. The kitchen is open plan with the living and dining area, which just somehow makes the whole space more inviting. I have seen people set up the living space one way or another but it always looks comfortable. The kitchen actually feels like a kitchen where you might want to cook something more than just toast. Lots of counter space, places to hang out while you wait for the kettle to boil. From there, the living area takes you out to a surprisingly big balcony. If you like a morning coffee outdoors or even just watching the gardens, you will probably end up using this space more than you think.
The view from the balcony is something a lot of people talk about. You look out over the landscaped gardens of Green Community East, and it really is as quiet and green as everyone says. Some evenings there are kids riding bikes or neighbors walking their dogs but most of the time you just hear the birds and the breeze in the trees. For anyone who wants an apartment in Dubai but actually wants to feel a bit of nature, this is sort of perfect.
The bedroom feels just right. Built in cupboards so you do not have to worry about where to put everything. There is also an en suite bathroom, which just adds to that sense of privacy and being comfortable in your own space. Everything about the apartment feels practical. There is parking included, so no hassle trying to find a spot late at night. And the elevator is never far which honestly makes grocery days a little easier.
You are probably wondering about getting around. Green Community is tucked away enough to feel peaceful but you are still connected to the city. You can get on Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road or Jebel Ali Al Habab Road pretty quickly and easily, so commuting is not a problem. Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Mall are about a half hour away depending on the day, so you get the best of both worlds. City one way, nature the other.
What I really like about the Green Community is how much is close by. The Market shopping centre is basically around the corner. You get the usual stuff like supermarkets and coffee shops you might find yourself a regular at, but also little surprises like the bakery on the corner. There is a sense that people here have lived in the area for a while. You even find local families visiting the playgrounds or friends catching up outside the shops in the evening.
If you have kids, five schools are within a short drive. Some people even walk if the mornings are nice. It takes away a lot of the stress day to day.
All in all, this Lake Apartments one bedroom is just easygoing and comfortable. Whether you work nearby or are just looking for a little escape from the fast pace downtown, it could be your own quiet spot in Dubai. The only way to know if it really feels right is to come see it. If you have questions or want to walk through and get a feel for the space, let me know any time. We try to make your next move with LuxuryProperty.com feel as comfortable as possible.
