The location surprised me as well. Marina Promenade is the quieter side of Dubai Marina so you do not get as much of the rush but everything you want is close. You can wander down to the beach or just stroll along the Canal Walk in the evening. There are always interesting places to eat nearby. Sometimes you see families sharing pizza on their balconies or people heading downstairs for an ice cream. The little coffee shop is never really far if you are someone who likes to start their day with a walk and a cappuccino.
