Some places just feel like they fit the way you want to live and this one bedroom apartment in Park Point kind of does that from the second you open the door. I still remember the first time I walked in here. Maybe it was because the light just floods in through those big windows and there is this gentle hush that makes the city feel a bit far away for a change. It is set right inside Dubai Hills Estate and honestly you really do notice the difference when you are here compared to being somewhere closer to downtown traffic. Life moves at a slower pace but you never actually feel disconnected.
The apartment itself is set up in a way that feels simple and easy rather than grand or overwhelming. As you look around, you will see they have used the space quite cleverly. It is about six hundred and sixty eight square feet but nothing feels cramped or poky. The living area just melts into the kitchen which, I have to say, does feel like somewhere you might cook rather than just heat up delivery. You get that nice view of the city or the boulevard depending where you stand, and sometimes the sky outside fills the whole window if you catch just the right moment in the late afternoon. Bedrooms in some apartments feel tucked away but here the bedroom somehow feels open. There is enough space for the bed you want and maybe even a comfy chair by the window for slow mornings or late nights when you want to read or just be quiet for a bit.
One thing I noticed after a bit of time is how the sense of space inside matches what you see when you step outside. There is so much greenery around Park Point, little parks and open spaces where people walk their dogs or you will see kids racing their bikes in the evenings. Every time I visit, I bump into at least one neighbor holding coffee from the café below or looking for a cab to the mall. In the building, you have a few things that definitely make daily life easier. There is an infinity pool that gets great afternoon sun and tends to be chill, not too busy most days. The gym actually has everything you would need if you like to work out. I have even seen families using the kids' play area on weekends and it is honestly more practical than you would expect from a city apartment.
Location really helps too. You are just about ten minutes from Dubai Marina and you can get to the Burj Khalifa in the same kind of time. Jumeirah Beach is also not far at all so if you like a morning walk by the water you have options. For golfers, the Dubai Hills championship course is five minutes away and even if you do not play, the view there just gives you a proper break from glass and concrete. Shops are close and so are pharmacies so, in reality, most things you need stay within easy reach every day. The main road is right there so getting in and out never feels like a hassle.
Dubai Hills Estate always has this feeling like it is its own little world. In Park Point you start to feel that rhythm. Some residents head to the promenade or browse the boutiques when the sun drops a bit. Sometimes I just sit on a bench outside and it almost feels like a green suburb even though you are right inside Dubai. If you work in the city but crave a quieter corner to come home to, this apartment gets that balance right.
There is always more to a place than the photos or the facts you can read about.
