Some places just have a way of making you stop for a second. I remember walking into this four bedroom duplex apartment in Park Heights at Dubai Hills Estate and before I even started thinking about what to call it or how to describe it I sort of just stood near the living room glass staring out. The park is right in front so you get that leafy view every day. It does feel a lot like a penthouse since you are spread out over two higher floors the view just kind of opens up right in your face. You can actually see families down in the park sometimes and on weekends you hear a bit more of that really gentle buzz of the community. There is plenty of space in here too. The built up area comes to around 3346 square feet if you like details. Honestly it just feels roomy and not cramped at all there are a load of these big windows everywhere so the sunlight slides through in the morning and brightens up all the corners you usually forget about in other flats.

Another thing I noticed is the building itself is done to a pretty high standard. The amenities push it even further so you have got a proper swimming pool and a fitness center that actually has enough space during busy hours. You can step down and be in your workout gear or in the pool without waiting or fighting for a treadmill. There are spots just to relax too both outside and inside.

You are really getting the Dubai Hills Estate lifestyle here. The mall is right in the neighbourhood. People are already talking about the drive through cinema coming soon which should be fun especially if you have kids or just want something different. The golf course is close and there is a clubhouse with a couple of restaurants where the mornings feel easy and you might actually bump into familiar faces or make a new friend.

Daily life just works. There is a school in the community if you need one. The hospital is not far especially King's College London which is in the area. Getting to Downtown Dubai or Dubai Marina is faster than you think since the roads are smooth and direct from here. Coffee shops are dotted around so you barely have to plan your week. Evening walks in the park are sort of a given. I have seen kids biking and adults just sitting on benches enjoying the light before dark.
