Some places just feel good when you walk in, you know what I mean? This two bedroom apartment at Park Heights in Dubai Hills Estate is one of those. The morning I visited, light spilled straight in through the big windows. You see the green parkland stretching out right outside and honestly, it just puts you in a better mood. I even caught myself pausing for a second by the balcony, looking out and listening to the quiet even though you are right in the middle of Dubai.
So the first thing you are going to notice is space. It never feels tight in here. The layout is simple but really open. You come through the front door and it just feels easy. The kitchen actually sits open to the main living area, so you get all this room to relax with friends around the dining table or even just chill on the sofa. That kitchen is not just for show either. Decent counter space. You have proper cupboards for, well, all the stuff that usually ends up stacked on top of the fridge. I met a resident in the hallway who said he actually cooks here and not just on weekends, so that tells you something.
Now the balcony is one of those hangout spots you start to crave as soon as the weather cools down. You can see all the park views from up here, and sometimes people are out walking their dogs in the morning or families just bring the kids out to play. It is a nice crowd. There is a coffee shop just around the corner as well. One of those places where they start to remember your order after a while.
Back inside, you will find the guest bedroom off the hallway. It has these built in wardrobes which help keep the clutter down. If you ever have a friend staying over or just need a good space for hobbies, it works. Plus it has its own bathroom so it feels private. Then you head to the main bedroom and it honestly feels a bit like a hotel suite. Walk in wardrobe area so you are not tripping over shoes all the time and a proper en suite that is just so well finished. The his and hers sinks came in handy the last time both of us were running late. You get a big tub for those nights when you want to chill and a separate shower if you are in a hurry. You will probably appreciate the storage here most of all. Also the laundry room is tucked out of sight so none of that mess spills over into the living area.
A guest washroom is sort of a small thing that makes a big difference when you have people coming by. Sometimes it is those details that add up. And something else I just have to mention is the facilities. You have two pools at Mulberry, both surprisingly peaceful, and a gym that is actually stocked, not just a treadmill stuck in the corner. The outdoor BBQ area brings everyone together some weekends and there are plenty of times you see families with kids at the playground, or just cyclists making use of the long trails.
Dubai Hills Estate is one of those neighbourhoods that really blends quiet and connection. Yes, you have downtown and the business areas pretty close by but it never feels hectic. Sometimes you even forget your phone when you walk around here.
At the end of the day, this apartment is perfect for someone looking for a fresh start in a community that has real green space and a slower pace but who still wants all the Dubai essentials nearby. The only way to know if it feels right for you is to see it in person. If you are curious, or just want some honest feedback after a viewing, get in touch any time.
