The first thing that hit me when I walked in was the sunlight. It pours in from floor to ceiling windows and just sits there across the room. If you like good food, pretty much every restaurant you've ever wanted to try is somewhere in or around the mall. And if you feel like being outside, watching the Dubai Fountain show at night is just one of those simple local things that just makes living here a little bit special. Now and then you see people who live nearby coming just to catch the water show and then heading back home with a smile.

Something else to mention about Burj Khalifa area is the way everything just works. There is security at every point, parking is sorted, the building feels clean and new, and honestly the whole area has a certain buzz but it is never too busy. You are right in the heart of Downtown Dubai, so everything from morning coffee to getting groceries or even catching a show at Dubai Opera is only a short walk away. These little details, like seeing kids biking near the fountains in the evenings, or hearing soft music drifting up from the restaurants below, just add to what it feels like to actually live here.
