Some homes just give you that pause when you open the door and this three bedroom apartment in the Burj Khalifa really does that. I stopped for a minute right in the hallway before even getting to the living area just to look at how the light falls through those big windows and you will probably do the same thing. Life feels pretty elevated up here. Sometimes you forget you are in the middle of Downtown Dubai until you glance out and catch the Arabian Sea and the winding stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road in the distance. You get those sweeping views of the financial district out one way and then these beautiful city lines the other. It is a kind of view you do not really get used to no matter how many times you see it.
It is set out over two thousand three hundred thirty three square feet so there is space to really breathe. The living room is open and clean and because it does not have the usual central pillar like you get in a lot of Burj Khalifa units it just feels easier to move around. Sometimes you feel apartments are made to look at but not really live in but this one just works. The kitchen is closed and actually feels like a spot where you could cook something special without having to worry about the smell floating everywhere. There are Miele appliances so if you like to cook you have got everything you could want right there and the look is simple and modern with wood finishes that feel more warm than hotel like.
There are two master bedrooms and you can feel it in the size. Both of them are quiet with enough storage for real life not just a holiday. You have got en suite bathrooms in both so even with guests or family everyone gets their own break from the noise. The third bedroom can easily be a guest room or work space if you do not need it for sleeping. There is also a private study which has more of a tucked away vibe. I actually sat in there for a bit and it is quiet even when the city feels busy below. It is nice having a space for reading or working or just sitting with a coffee looking down at the world.
There is really nothing like stepping out and having all these amenities. Three swimming pools so you can always find one with a bit of quiet. The gym has all the gear you need and people actually use it so it never has that abandoned feel you sometimes get in towers. Then there is the sky lounge way up on the one hundred twenty third floor. The first time I stood up there I must have spent ten minutes just watching the clouds and the water and the city below. You only get that when you live here.
Plus you get five star service every day. The team here knows everyone by name which makes it feel less like a hotel and more like home. If you like a good meal or just want to have a treat now and then residents get discounts at the Armani Hotel and the Burj Club downstairs. Honestly you barely have to leave the building for anything. The Dubai Mall is just a walk away. The coffee shop is never far. In the evenings sometimes you see families taking a stroll right outside or people jogging as the sun starts to set.
It just feels comfortable here. Some spaces are special and you can only really know if this one is right for you by walking through it yourself.
