Some places just make you want to slow down and linger for a while and I felt that when I walked into this two bedroom apartment in Boulevard Central Towers right in the heart of Downtown Dubai. You know how sometimes an apartment feels a little boxed in with too many walls well this one does not give you that at all. The living space just opens up in a way that makes you want to take your shoes off and sit for a bit. Sunlight fills the whole area and honestly there is something calming about just sitting by the window and looking out over Old Town Island. That view with Burj Khalifa in the background never really gets old. Morning or evening it is always there and sometimes you notice the light changing on the building and it is just kind of peaceful.
The kitchen is one of those you could actually see yourself cooking in and not just eating takeaway. It is semi open so you can still talk to someone in the living area and not feel cut off which is nice if you have friends over or even just want some company while you make a cup of coffee. Cupboard space is decent too and I noticed you could tuck away everything and keep the counters clear which always helps. There is enough room for two people to be in there without bumping into each other which actually matters more than you think.
Both bedrooms have enough space to stretch out and breathe. The closet setup feels straight forward and easy not complicated or crammed. You can actually put your things away without having to stuff anything. I stood on the balcony for a bit and you pick up the sounds of the city but it is not too much. Just enough to remind you you are in Downtown Dubai which always has a bit of a buzz to it.
And the best thing about living here is really the location. You step outside and there is always something happening around Downtown. The Dubai Mall is right down the boulevard you could walk if the weather is decent or grab a quick taxi. Restaurants and little coffee places are always close so it is never a hassle when you want to meet someone or grab a bite. Sometimes in the evening you see families and kids out walking and the area has a mix of energy but also feels settled. Weekends can get lively if there is something happening but you can always retreat back to your apartment if you want peace.
The amenities are honestly the sort you will actually use. The pool deck is a real pool not just a postage stamp. You can do laps or just lounge. The gym is proper with enough machines and space so you are not waiting around. There are landscaped terraces where you might catch someone reading or having a chat and it is kind of nice to know you can just step outside without leaving your building. Security is always present but not intrusive and parking is in the basement which means you are not walking far when you bring in groceries.
With Downtown Dubai as your address you are pretty much set for getting anywhere else in the city. Roads are straightforward and you can get to places like Dubai International Airport without any fuss. Even Expo City is just a short drive away so you do not have to plan ahead too much for trips. You are surrounded by some of the best five star hotels in Dubai which is great if you have visitors or just want to pop in for coffee or dinner yourself.
Honestly this apartment feels like a place you could just settle into. Nothing overdone nothing shouting at you but every bit of it just works. You only really know if it suits you after you see it though. If you want to walk through or even just ask me something small about living in Downtown Dubai just let me know.
