This place in Building 23A at City Walk make you take a breath when you step in. As soon as I opened the door I just paused for a second. You feel the sunlight almost wash over the whole space. It is a two bedroom apartment but it does not feel boxed in like so many others. Honestly it feels ready to jump right into life. Sometimes you walk into a place and think okay I have to tear down this wall or fix that kitchen before I can relax but here it all just works as is. The first time I stood by the windows in the living room I caught myself watching the city outside for a while. There are so many trees and people always seem to be heading somewhere good like to the coffee shop downstairs or catching up outside the cafe. Photos are just for illustration but the feeling is hard not to like in real life.
Inside the layout is open and you will notice it does not have that awkward shape you sometimes see. It flows. The light is a big deal here. No gloomy corners at all and if you have always wanted a brighter home you will be happy with this. Both bedrooms get the sun most of the day which means you can actually wake up to some real daylight. If you ever felt like your bedroom was as dark as a basement that will not be a problem here. The rooms fit a proper bed with enough space to move around and still add a reading chair or a desk if work follows you home sometimes.
I spent a bit of time just walking from the dining area to the kitchen because it is always the heart of any home really. Not every apartment in Dubai has a kitchen that feels like you would actually cook in it but this one does. You have contemporary fittings so nothing feels tired or dated. There is direct access to the balcony. So you can leave the oven on and wander out for a minute to check the city view without missing a beat. If you like to have friends over or host a long lunch on weekends it is easy to imagine that here. The living and dining areas are open but still separated enough so you are not sitting on top of each other.
The maid's room is en suite which adds a little privacy for live in help or maybe even for a hobby room or storage if you do not need it right away. It is just one of those small things that turn out to be really handy.
And the best thing is you are right in City Walk. I tell people this is like living in a little pocket where everything you need is right outside the door. You can walk to the Grand Plaza for groceries or coffee runs. Grab something sweet from one of the bakeries if you feel like treating yourself. Pop down to the fitness center if you want to get a morning workout in before work. Sometimes you even see kids biking in the evenings or people just taking a slow stroll. Plus if you are someone who likes a little time by the beach it is never far at all. Weekends can just happen without too much planning. Everything feels pretty easy here to be honest.
This apartment is vacant and upgraded so there is no waiting around or wondering about hidden fixes. You could move in pretty much right away and get on with things. If you have a couple or young family or even just want a bit more space this place should tick a lot of boxes. But the only way to really know if it fits is to come see it.
