Some places just have a feeling when you walk in. This three bedroom apartment in Seventh Heaven at Al Barari does that straight away. You walk in and the quiet kind of settles on your shoulders. There is this calm and greenery everywhere and the light just softens everything as you look around. I actually stopped for a second right in the living room and just sort of let it all sink in.
You get this huge open living area and when I say open, I mean those sliding glass doors run almost all the way across the terrace and they slide completely out of the way so there is almost nothing between you and the outside. There is even a little moment after you open them where you feel the change in the air. That sound of birds gets louder and you just want to step outside for a breath. The terrace kind of wraps along the apartment, so you can move from sitting in the sun with your coffee in the morning to catching the evening breeze after a long day. And honestly, looking down over Al Barari's gardens from up here, with all that green space, you start to forget you are close to the city. But you really are. It feels tucked away but E311 is just down the road so reaching Downtown Dubai or even Dubai International Airport is easy.
The kitchens are the sort where you might actually cook, not just unbox takeout. There is a show kitchen with sleek, modern appliances and big worktops, and then tucked behind, a separate dirty kitchen. I know some folks love to keep the cooking out of sight, especially when company is coming over. The main kitchen connects right into the dining area so it all flows nicely. I tried standing at the counter just to get a feel and you can easily imagine serving up a meal while chatting with friends and family outside on the terrace.
One of my favourite things in this home is the way the bedrooms feel. Each of the three bedrooms is large, and the wooden floors give this warm underfoot feel, kind of like someone actually thought about making it nice to live in, not just to look at. The windows are huge, floor to ceiling, so the morning light just floods in, gentle and golden. From the master suite, you wake up and the first thing you see is all that greenery from Al Barari and way in the distance, you spot the Burj Khalifa. I almost missed it at first. It is one of those details that gives you a little surprise each morning. The bathrooms are another story. Marble everywhere, really elegant but also kind of peaceful. Some even have windows, so you get these lovely views while you unwind at the end of the day. Trust me, try a soak with the window cracked, you will hear the sound of water from the streams running through the community.
Life here in Al Barari really does feel easy and natural. Kids ride their bikes along quiet paths in the evening and you see neighbours wave from their balconies. You are close to good schools if you need them and some genuinely good coffee shops are never far away. The whole community feels safe and lived in. The pool downstairs is shaded by palms and you get those skyline views, too. Sometimes you forget your phone and just sit for a while.
This apartment has just been handed over, so everything feels fresh and ready for new memories. The truth is, the only way to know if it feels right for you is to come walk through it.
