Some homes really do feel different the second you walk into them. This two bedroom apartment at The Torch in Dubai Marina is actually one of those. I remember the last time I visited, the building itself always seems to be alive. There is a hum from the Marina down below, people coming and going with their coffee or shopping bags. Even before I stepped inside the apartment, you get a sense that you are properly in the heart of Dubai Marina. Everything you might need is never far. You can take a walk down to Marina Walk for a morning run or just a coffee if you are like me and running is a little bit overrated. The beaches are close enough you probably will not have to check if you forgot your sunscreen before setting out.
The apartment opens up with a surprising amount of space. One thousand two hundred and fifty eight square feet feels quite a lot bigger here than you might think on paper. You will notice right away, both bedrooms are generous. They are not just for sleeping either. There is space for a work corner or cozy reading chair, or even just enough to let in extra light. These bedrooms have a quiet atmosphere too. Sometimes in tall towers that can be hit or miss but honestly here it just works. I have stood by the window on a weekday and watched boats down in the Marina while planning my day. There is something calming about it.
The bathrooms have that clean, modern look. You can tell some renovation has been done, though not to the point that you would not want to put your own stamp on it. Some apartments feel cold after a renovation but this one does not. It is move in ready to be honest. Still you will find yourself thinking about your own colours or soaps or towels and that just means it is a welcoming space. The kitchen has all the essentials in place and it is not just a showpiece kitchen. I saw someone actually cooking when I visited once so you know it is not just for heating up takeout. There is a flow between kitchen and living area that makes having people over feel almost easy. I can picture Sunday breakfasts by the window or evenings with a few friends and nobody bumping elbows.
An added bonus is the covered parking spot that comes with the apartment and you would be surprised how much you appreciate that after a year in Dubai Marina. Parking and getting around is often the real luxury. Plus you have the big extras of the Torch Tower itself. There is a modern gym on site. I have overheard real local residents swapping workout tips in the lift so it is not just for show. There is an outdoor pool which actually gets some sun even in the later hours of the day and a jacuzzi for a slower kind of morning. Families use the play area and sometimes you see kids with scooters heading out in the late afternoon. The BBQ area is always buzzing on weekends and every resident has their own story about their best gathering out there. Security is always around but not in your face and the building management really does make daily life simpler. You get a sense people actually know each other here.
You will find the apartment is vacant right now so there is none of that awkward wait for keys or delayed move. It is offered unfurnished too which honestly I prefer. It is easier to make a place feel like your own if you are not working around someone else's couch. Whether you are looking to finally pick up your new home right in Dubai Marina or you are thinking investment for the long run this one makes sense. The building is well recognised so you rarely get surprises later on.
The thing is it is hard to talk about a space like this without seeing if it fits the next part of your story. If you want to know more or just walk through one afternoon I am always here to show you around. At LuxuryProperty.com we really are about making things easier not harder. That is the honest truth. Come see if this feels like your next place.
