Sheraton Grand Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road
Some places just feel a bit different the minute you step in. This two bedroom apartment at the Sheraton Grand Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road honestly has a way of slowing things down. Maybe it is the view from up high or the way morning light fills the space but I found myself just leaning against the window for a while and letting the city noise become distant. Even though you are right in the heart of Dubai there is a quiet up here that makes it easy to forget the rush outside.
The apartment itself feels pretty crisp and clean. You walk into a proper open layout so there is space to let your day unfold however you need. The kitchen opens right up into the living area which just makes things feel easy. It is not the kind of kitchen you would just look at and never use either—everything is there including a washing machine and dishwasher so chores do not pile up on you. There is even a Nespresso for coffee first thing or late at night. I like how you never really have to fight for space in here. With nearly thirteen hundred square feet there is always a private corner to read or just scroll for a bit while something simmers on the stove.
The bedrooms do a good job of feeling welcoming but never overdone. One has a King Size Sheraton Signature bed and I have to say it really lives up to its name. There is just something about good hotel bedding that seems to erase a tired day. The second bedroom feels every bit as comfortable too. Both rooms and the main living space have their own big TV so there is no need to fight over movie night. Storage just works—closets are ready for your whole wardrobe, even the parts you only wear sometimes.
I think it is the simple little things that stand out here more than all the extras—like the way every window lets you watch Sheikh Zayed Road slide by below. Or stepping up to the rooftop pool after a long day and seeing the city light up while you swim. There is something about that height that makes Dubai look a little magical. The fitness centre is as modern as anything you would expect from a proper hotel like this and the Soul Wellness Spa has that faint eucalyptus scent that makes you want to stay longer than planned.
People living here get more than just the flat too. All your main bills are already sorted in the rent so there are no surprises at the end of the month. Wi Fi is quick and steady—calls never seem to drop even when you wander to the kitchen. You also have your own parking spot downstairs which is priceless on this stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road.
Food is honestly a big highlight. You have got five different restaurants and cafes inside the Sheraton Grand itself and if you are here a while the discounts stack up. There is always something open even if it is late and you do not feel like ordering out. The atmosphere downstairs changes through the day—sometimes business breakfast meetings, sometimes families relaxing, sometimes tourists heading up to the pool.
What gets me about this spot is just how connected it is too. You are eight minutes from Dubai Mall so weekends are never dull. Dubai Airport is only fifteen minutes so if you travel a lot it really takes away the hassle. The World Trade Centre metro station is a short walk so you can move around the city without thinking about traffic or parking.
Every day starts to feel a little more comfortable when you stay long enough at the Sheraton Grand. Plus the chance to pop out for coffee never gets old especially when the city is right outside your door. Some days you might even spot kids biking past in the evening or people just wandering home after dinner.
Places in Dubai come in all shapes and feels so the only way to know if this one is yours is to see it for yourself. If you have questions about the apartment or just want to check it out let me know anytime. At LuxuryProperty.com we want finding your next place to feel as comfortable as coming home.
