Seventh Heaven, Al Barari
Some homes just have a certain kind of hush when you walk in. This two bedroom apartment at Seventh Heaven in Al Barari felt like that for me the first time I visited. It sits right in the heart of the greenest bit of Dubai and honestly, you'll feel it as soon as you step inside. The light everywhere is kind of calming and makes you want to kick off your shoes and just wander out onto the huge terrace for a look at the gardens. Sometimes you can even hear the birds in the trees below which is just not something you expect in the middle of the city.
What's surprising when you walk into this place is how generous the rooms feel. There's this big living space that just flows into the kitchen so you could easily picture friends over for dinner or even just a quiet morning coffee on your own. The kitchen is the kind of spot you'd actually use not just for quick takeout but for real cooking. It already has all the essentials like a good quality cooker, oven, microwave and even a teppanyaki grill which is a fun little bonus if you like trying out new recipes. I can imagine someone making pancakes on a slow weekend as sunlight pours in through those floor to ceiling windows.
And about the windows, they are honestly one of my favorite things here. Standing by them for a few minutes, all you see is green. Right outside there are gardens and the little river of Al Barari weaving through the trees. Look further and the city opens up in the distance. You get this feeling that you're tucked far away from the rush but actually Downtown and the Marina are both an easy drive. You also get a pretty incredible skyline view, especially in the evenings when the sun starts to set behind the towers. Sometimes you just want to stand there for a bit and take it in while everything looks a little golden.
The terrace is really where you start imagining life here. It is much bigger than most I see in Dubai apartments and perfect for a small outdoor table or even a few plants if you're into greenery. I could picture quiet evenings outside hearing just a bit of soft city noise way out in the distance and maybe some kids riding bikes below through the community paths.
Bedrooms are well planned with built in closets and en suite bathrooms so there is proper privacy for anyone living with you or just having guests over. Even though the apartment is brand new and waiting for its first person to settle in, it does not feel cold or clinical at all. I actually quite like that it comes unfurnished so you can make it yours from the very first day. Some people need to imagine their own things filling the space before they really start calling it home.
Facilities and amenities are what you would expect in a place people actually live and stay for years. There is a proper gym, a swimming pool that is not all closed in like so many others in Dubai, and even a spa and Jacuzzi for when you need to unwind. Plus the community itself is almost a small town. You get 55 retail spots right nearby which covers everything from Waitrose for your groceries to a coffee shop where the staff start to know your regular order. I have noticed parents heading to the local bakery with their kids when school is out and it feels, honest to God, just a bit more relaxed than other places.
Al Barari is a bit of a secret spot in Dubai even now. People who live here do not usually leave in a rush since the gardens and water features, as well as the quiet, are hard to give up. The roads to Downtown or Marina are straight and kind of easy so your commute never really feels like a chore.
The only way to know if it fits the way you want to live is to come have a look for yourself. Sometimes pictures just cannot show the feeling. If you want to take a walk through or even just want to ask a few questions, let me know any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we really want your next place to feel just right.
