Seventh Heaven, Al Barari
Some homes are just so different right from the doorway that you almost forget why you came in at first. This two bedroom apartment at Seventh Heaven in Al Barari really does that for me. Honestly when I walked in the first time I had to just stand still near the huge windows for a minute. There is a flood of light and the greenery outside just sort of washes into the room. It is one of those places where Dubai almost feels like another city altogether. The thing about Al Barari is it is built for quiet mornings and slow afternoons so you start to feel it even before you open the door. Out on the balcony you can hear birds all the time and some days there is this gentle water sound from one of the streams that run through the community. You almost never notice cars here. Sometimes you look out and see someone walking their dog, or kids actually laughing and chasing each other around in the green.
Inside the apartment it is honestly a lot bigger than you may expect. The size surprised me more than once. Over two thousand seven hundred square feet. That is more space than many family villas. You walk in and there is this big open living area. It feels right for everything from a slow breakfast with the newspaper to a movie night with friends. The kitchen is open but still tucked a bit out of the way and it does actually look like somewhere you might want to cook a proper meal. The appliances are not just the ones that look good for photos, they are the real deal and the storage makes organizing things pretty easy. I stood next to the massive kitchen window for a while and the amount of natural light is pretty unreal even when you are just making coffee.
The bedrooms both feel large enough to really relax in. You get proper built in wardrobes and the windows are floor to ceiling so waking up to that view never gets old. Every bedroom has its own bathroom and you will notice the quality straight away. Marble, clever lighting, even the taps feel expensive but still simple. Sometimes you get bathrooms that look nice but do not make sense to use. Here you will see what I mean, these just work and they feel quiet and peaceful.
What stands out in Al Barari is just how green it is. Not city park green, this is really thick with landscaping and proper gardens everywhere. Sometimes you can smell flowers on the breeze if you open the window. It feels impossible that you are still in Dubai. Every path seems to wind a bit and there are little seating areas or hidden corners where you can sit and read or just take in the quiet. The coffee shop is never far. I have stopped there before a viewing just to enjoy the village vibe for a few minutes.
This apartment in Seventh Heaven is just recently handed over so everything still feels brand new. The hallways are spotless and the lifts are fast and quiet. You do not get the usual city feeling here. You get more of a sense of space and people moving at their own speed.
You are close to major roads if you ever need to get back to the city or head down to the Marina or DIFC and you will notice it almost always stays peaceful no matter how busy Dubai feels elsewhere.
Come take a look if you are looking for a proper retreat that does not feel showy or crowded. Sometimes you can only tell if a place fits once you have seen it for yourself. If you have questions or just want to see how it feels in person, just ask anytime. At LuxuryProperty dot com we do our best to help your next move feel easy and relaxed.
