Oceana Caribbean, Oceana, Palm Jumeirah
Some places really do make you pause at the door. This two bedroom apartment at Oceana in the Caribbean Building on Palm Jumeirah does just that. The moment I walked in here, I found myself slowing down a bit and just soaking up the quiet. It is that kind of home where the noise of the marina feels far away even though you are right in the middle of it all. You look out and see water and docked boats and honestly, you can almost imagine you are on holiday most days.
This one stands out because it is not your typical two bedroom at Oceana. For one thing, it feels more open and bigger than most and you notice that straight away. There is this huge outdoor terrace where you just want to sit out with a coffee first thing or maybe have a lazy lunch while you watch the sun go down. Not many apartments on Palm Jumeirah give you quite this much space outside where you are still sheltered from the busy bits but close enough to see what is happening around the West Beach Marina Dock. If you are the type that loves seeing boats come and go or just watching the water shift with the wind, it is hard not to get drawn in.
The layout surprised me too. There is direct access from your closed two car parking garage right into your apartment, and I do not see that at many places here. It makes life feel a bit easier. No lift lobbies or fumbling for keys while carrying shopping bags. With the kitchen, it is set up as a closed one right now so if you prefer privacy when cooking it works perfectly but you could open it up if you are into that open plan lifestyle. If you love cooking or just want the option to, this kitchen feels proper. The living space links up nicely with the terrace so you get that breeze and sunlight especially in the late afternoons.
You still have all the little things you want in a Palm Jumeirah apartment. There is a maid's room which you could easily use for laundry or an office if you do not need the extra help. Both bedrooms feel quiet and tucked-away, and there is enough closet space for people who do not want to live out of suitcases. Nothing too over the top but it all feels like it works.
I wandered around Oceana itself and it actually feels almost like a private club. Residents here have use of a long private sandy beach which not all buildings give you. I stood there for a while and the views back to Dubai Marina are pretty striking especially at sunset. There is a definite mix of families and young professionals around, with a few kids racing by on scooters in the afternoons. Probably my favorite spot is the infinity pool which just kind of drops away into the blue. If you are into fitness there is a new resident gym and even a Blended Fitness center plus a spa with discounted rates just for you. Some people like to unwind in the sun while others head to the lazy river after work and you have both options here. There is even a casual restaurant on site and you get a little discount which is always a nice perk. And the best part none of it feels crowded.
This apartment is offered vacant so you do not have to worry about tenants or timing your move. It is priced at four million two hundred fifty thousand dirhams and if you know Palm Jumeirah and Oceana you will get why that matters. Unfurnished but easy to imagine how your things would fit in. What I like most though is how you can already picture quiet Saturday mornings or easy evenings with the feeling that everything you need is close by but never in your face. The coffee shop is not far and if you ever want to get to Atlantis or anywhere on the trunk it is no big deal.
Honestly, the only way to know if it is the right fit is to come see it for yourself. If you have any questions or if you just want to come have a look and a chat, just reach out whenever. At LuxuryProperty.com, we really do think moving should feel comfortable from start to finish.
