Damac Heights, Dubai Marina
Some homes just make you slow down for a second right at the door. When I first walked into this two bedroom apartment at Damac Heights in Dubai Marina, honestly, I just wanted to head to the window and watch the water for a while. The light fills up the living room so naturally you almost forget you are indoors and there is a view of pretty much every famous landmark you could want out here. On a clear day you can stand there with your coffee and see all the way to the Palm, out past Bluewaters and Ain Dubai, or just let your eyes wander along the boats in the Marina below.
This is a Fendi apartment, but it does not feel too showy or over the top. You will see the marble straight away under your feet, and if you look up the ceiling details are actually pretty subtle but still carefully done. When I was last inside, I noticed how even the handles on the wardrobes in the main bedroom feel heavy and solid and there is just enough storage to keep things feeling tidy without being fussy about it. It is worth saying the apartment is unfurnished right now, which some people actually prefer. You can set things up exactly how you want, whether you are bringing pieces from home or starting fresh.
The kitchen is honestly one of my favorite parts. Sometimes you get places where the kitchen looks nice in the pictures but in real life, all you want to do is heat up takeout. Not here. You have proper appliances tucked away, plus the worktops are big enough for chopping and there is a spot by the window where you could roll out pastry if you are into that. If you are someone who likes making a bit of a mess when you cook, or if you just want to entertain a few friends, this kitchen does the job quietly.
There are two main bathrooms and both have a bathtub, which is not as common as you would think in Dubai Marina these days. I ran the taps just to check the water pressure when I was there. No problems at all. There is also a guest washroom tucked near the entrance, which is the sort of thing you notice only once you actually start living somewhere.
The main bedroom has its own balcony and I remember opening the sliding door and catching that mix of breeze and city air you get late in the afternoon around here. You can see families walking down on the Marina Walk, people jogging or cycling in the evenings, maybe even a few kids riding scooters between the towers. If you want a little space outside without heading down to the pool, this balcony is perfect for reading or just letting your laundry dry in the sun.
Speaking of the pool, it is one of the things Damac Residenze is known for. There always seems to be a lifeguard on duty, the water is clean, and even on weekends you can usually find a quiet corner to yourself. There is a proper gym, not just a room with a treadmill, plus steam and sauna rooms if that is your thing. I have seen friends playing billiards when I pass by and there are barbecue areas where the smell gets up into the balconies sometimes. It just makes you hungry for a casual dinner.
Honestly, the location is about as convenient as you can get in Dubai Marina. Getting to PF Chang's or Tony Roma's is just a quick walk and Reel Cinema is not far if you want a night out but do not feel like driving. The beach at JBR is close enough for an easy Saturday morning and you can walk or bike almost everywhere. Morning coffee? The coffee shop is never far.
The only way you really know if this two bedroom waterfront apartment at Damac Heights fits how you want to live is to come and see it in person. If you have questions or just want a slow walkthrough with someone who gets it, you can reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we try our best to let finding your next place feel as easy as possible.
