Claren Tower 2, Claren Towers, Downtown Dubai
Some places just have a kind of gentle pull the minute you walk in. This two bedroom apartment in Claren Tower 2 at Downtown Dubai does that for me every single time. I remember standing by the windows with the morning light just streaming in and looking right out over the Opera and those fountains that everyone loves. Even with the city right there, it feels a bit peaceful up here. You do hear a bit of life from below but honestly it adds to it.
Here you will find the sort of living space people actually use. Some apartments feel a bit staged but with this open plan living and that patio balcony you just feel like you want to take your shoes off and settle in. Maybe pull up a chair with a coffee and let your mind wander while the city shuffles on. The windows are huge which is fantastic for anyone who cannot stand gloomy spots. Sun just finds its way in and the view is the type that keeps changing all through the day. The Burj Khalifa sticks out beautifully from different corners of the apartment so you almost never forget where you are.
The kitchen does not try to be fancy for the sake of it. There is a Teka oven and hob set into the counter so you could actually cook something proper. The fridge is a big Bosch that is just ready for someone who likes to keep things stocked. I always notice that there is enough space here to move around with a couple of friends or family coming through. So many kitchens look great from a distance but you never want to actually touch anything. Here it just feels easy. You can talk to people, look out over the living room and those windows, maybe keep an eye on what everyone is up to while you chop up something quick.
Both bedrooms have more storage than you expect. Built in wardrobes line one wall in that quiet useful way plus the master is set up neatly so you can hang a screen right in, and the space still does not feel cramped. The light spills in here too. Bathroom in the master wakes you up with that big walk in shower and separate bath. Double sinks with lots of surface means you are not bumping elbows in the morning. The chrome fittings look clean but not flashy. I like that. Even the second bathroom feels proper. Walk in shower again decent space and no fuss. There is also a guest washroom tucked away so guests do not have to trample through your rooms just to freshen up.
Living in Claren Tower lets you step down to the pool deck that gets a bit of sun in the afternoon maybe stretch out for a bit. Some days you see kids with floaties plus early risers heading to the gym which is all kitted out so there is no excuse not to at least try. Secure parking is sorted so you never really stress about space if you get in late from a dinner at the Mall or meeting up around Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. I have even seen folks out with prams or running on the street in front. Seems safe and neighborly most days.
This bit of Downtown Dubai sort of connects you with everything. Coffee shops all around even a bakery that opens early. You can walk almost anywhere. Dubai Mall is just down the street so cinema or a last minute shop for something smart doesn't need planning. The Opera seems always within view and you sometimes hear the applause from performances when the wind is right.
If you are looking at Downtown Dubai and want an apartment that actually feels like home this place is one to consider. The only real way to know if it feels right is to come see it for yourself. If you have questions or just want a slow walk through let me know anytime. At LuxuryProperty.com we just try to keep it easy and honest so your next move feels a little lighter.
