Burj Views, Downtown Dubai
There is something about walking into certain places right in the middle of Downtown Dubai that just feels easy. This two bedroom apartment in the Burj Views tower has that. I arrived while the city was just starting to wake up and the streets below were full of that hum you only get in this neighbourhood. The building is EMAAR, so from the moment you step inside there is this feeling of calm and neatness which I always notice. The doorman smiled and you can tell most people here know each other.
You step through the doors and the foyer is just bright. There is light bouncing everywhere and I stopped for a second just to take it in. Immediately on the right is a guest bathroom which is far more useful than most people think. It is actually in the perfect spot when someone drops by and you do not want them wandering through the whole apartment. To the left, two bedrooms, each with their own bathroom attached, and both have big built in wardrobes so storage never becomes a hassle. What makes these bedrooms feel special is those windows though. If you stand by one and look out, you are looking right at Downtown Dubai. Early morning you see people heading to work, the city really moves quickly here. In the distance, the Burj Khalifa stands right in view. It always catches you off guard how close you really are.
You will also notice the bathrooms are meant for proper relaxing. Both have his and hers sinks which means less bumping around if you both need to get ready at the same time. And even better, there is a jacuzzi that just invites you to slow down after one of those long work days or weekends when you have just finished running errands.
The kitchen is modern and has everything you need actually to cook, not just heat something up. I imagine a few meals with friends here, chopping veggies at the counter. There is a natural flow right into the living and dining area. This space is larger than you expect. The two balconies throw in so much more light. You can open the doors in the cooler months and let the breeze roll in. Sometimes, in the evening, the lights from the city are almost enough you do not even need to switch your own on. When you are here, you cannot miss the view of Burj Khalifa. It really never gets old watching it light up at night. People love to watch the New Year's fireworks from just this area. In the mornings if you are up early enough you will see folks jogging around the Boulevard and later maybe a few families grabbing coffee from one of the shops nearby.
Downstairs, this tower feels like its own little community. There are two swimming pools so it never seems too busy and I have noticed people actually swim laps here. If you like to stay active, there are two gyms, and honestly, I do not think I have seen ones this well kept in most towers. They even have squash and badminton courts for when you want to do something different. There is a children's play area indoors so if you ever have little ones visiting they are sorted. Even running everyday errands feels easy here with supermarkets right below, plus little salons and places to get coffee so you do not even have to go outside if you do not want to. You can even just grab a takeaway and watch the city from your own balcony.
This apartment is not just about being in Downtown Dubai or having a close up of the Burj. It feels like a real home, not just somewhere you stay for a while. Honestly, sometimes you forget your phone and end up just watching the city go by. The best way to know if it is right for you is to come see it. If you have a question or just want to look around, let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we always want to make your next move feel like the right one.
