Aykon City, Business Bay
Some apartments just feel good as soon as you walk in. This two bedroom place at Aykon City in Business Bay gave me that straight away. I stepped inside and for a second, you almost forget you are in the middle of Dubai's busy city because everything just feels calm. Light everywhere. The big windows do most of the work and I ended up just standing by one for a bit, just sort of watching the afternoon drift past Sheikh Zayed Road. You are right on the Golden Quadrant here, honestly, some people spend half their time just stuck in traffic trying to get here, but for you it is right at your doorstep.
There is this flow when you walk through. Both bedrooms sit at either side of the main living area, so you get that bit of privacy if you want it. Both have their own bathrooms too which is honestly so much easier when you have guests or if you are sharing. The kitchen is exactly where you would want it, bright and open, right into the living space. I always look for kitchens that actually feel like you would want to cook. This one does that. It is not just for the look. You could do a Friday night dinner with friends or even just pick up something downstairs and eat out on the balcony.
Speaking of the balcony, it is pretty generous. It goes the whole length of the apartment. So even if you are in your room or the living space you can just slip outside and take in views over Jumeirah and the Dubai Canal. Some mornings I can imagine someone out there with a coffee watching the early city wake up. At night the lights go for miles. You will start to notice you do not reach for your phone as much when you are out there, and instead just watch what is happening below. You also get all the energy of Business Bay but it is not noisy. Aykon City is made so you feel the excitement of the city but still have your peaceful place up here.
Amenities are a big reason people come to Aykon City but I think it is the way they are tucked into everything that makes them stand out. The beach club is popular with locals who know about it which is saying something. There is a spa if you need to take it easy after a long week and residents even get their own yoga lawn for those quiet mornings you do not want to rush into anything. If you are into running, there is a track, and the gym actually feels clean and looked after. There is a pool of course. The cafes and restaurants downstairs are honestly decent and you do not always get that in some places. It is not just for show.
Also, twenty four hour concierge means packages do not just get left anywhere and someone is always there if you need help. The building itself looks like it belongs here. Inspired by Dubai's desert dunes, it stands out and somehow fits in at the same time. There is also freehold here which, if you know that area, is not easy to find right on Sheikh Zayed Road. It is a real perk when you think about what is around you. Some serious five star hotels are your next door neighbors. You will walk by some pretty impressive places just getting your morning coffee.
Close to downtown, always easy to just pop out to The Dubai Mall or the Burj Khalifa. You might even walk sometimes in the cooler months. Kids bike around outside in the evenings and you will start to recognize faces at the local bakery after a bit. It is a real community.
Honestly, it is hard to get the whole feeling into words. The only way to know if it is right for you is to come see it yourself. Reach out any time if you have questions or just want to walk around. At LuxuryProperty dot com we just try to help make your next move simple and easy.
