Avani Palm View Hotel & Suites, Dubai Media City
Sometimes when you step into a place, there is this little pause that just happens. That is honestly what I felt walking into this two bedroom apartment at Avani Palm View Hotel and Suites over in Dubai Media City. It is probably because of the natural light. Every window here is tall and stretches up to the ceiling and I actually had to stop by one of them and just look out for a second. You catch this full sweep of the Arabian Sea and even in the middle of the day it just makes everything feel calm. For a city apartment that is not something you get everywhere.
The thing I kept noticing is how open it all feels. Sometimes a two bedroom can feel a bit boxed in but not here. You have a generous living space that is really easy to picture actually living in. There is room for proper dinners or even just spreading out with a takeaway and binge watching something on your laptop. I found myself walking around and thinking this is the kind of spot where you might even cook a real meal sometimes rather than just reheating leftovers. The kitchen is semi open with a good breakfast counter. There are modern appliances tucked in so if you do like cooking that is all set up for you. I leaned on the kitchen counter for a bit and it just felt simple and usable not fancy for the sake of it. Even with everything open it still manages to feel cosy and quiet. You will also notice a study table in the living space so if you work from home or just need a spot to scribble notes this is a real set up not an afterthought.
The bedrooms are set apart from the living area which is nice when you want to just unwind. Both are made for comfort. Think gentle lighting and space for actual furniture not just a bed and nothing else. The master bedroom has its own balcony which I think might be my favourite spot in the apartment. I stepped out there and it is just the right size for a cup of coffee in the morning or some fresh air in the evening while you listen to the city settle down. The bathroom in the master suite feels a bit like a private spa with a deep tub that makes you want to linger a little too long with a book. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms so there is no waiting around in the morning rush and it just takes some of the pressure off if you have friends staying over.
Everything flows right through to those sea views. You can see the water from pretty much every room and on a clear day it just seems like the place is floating above it all. I noticed how quiet it gets even though you are right off the Sheikh Zayed Road so you are really well connected. You are only a short drive from Palm Jumeirah and the Marina and Dubai Media City is actually a great hub with cafes and local spots nearby. Sometimes you will see people in the afternoon walking over for a snack or friends meeting up downstairs for coffee. The Avani building itself makes things easy with a proper AvaniFit gym that actually gets sun through big windows so you do not get that gloomy gym feeling. There is a good sized outdoor pool which feels more like a relaxed resort than an apartment block and if you like to eat out sometimes the restaurants inside are pretty solid choices so you do not need to go far for good food.
Things just work here. It feels like a real home and the logistics are easy. If you are moving in with someone or planning to work from home part time it just suits the flow of everyday life and gives you that bit of breathing room that makes a difference. Plus being unfurnished means it is ready for your own taste so you can really put your stamp on the place.
The only way to know if it is the right fit is to walk through yourself. If you want to come see the apartment or just have some questions let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we want to help you find the apartment that actually feels right for you. Reach out any time.
