15 Northside, Business Bay
Some homes just give you that little pause when you step in. I get that feeling with this two bedroom apartment at 15 Northside, right along the Dubai Water Canal in Business Bay. There is a certain kind of light here that is hard to explain until you actually stand in the room. The floor to ceiling windows are not just for show, they really pull in the morning sun and you'll probably notice yourself reaching for coffee before your phone, if you're like me. I stood by the window for a bit and just looked out at the canal, you catch a glimpse of boats drifting by and even the city skyline off in the distance. It is an easy sort of calm that is sometimes hard to find in a city like Dubai.
The space here feels real, not just glossy brochure perfect. You walk into an open plan living and kitchen area and it honestly feels ready for your own breakfast routine or maybe even a small dinner with friends. It is just under twelve hundred square feet inside, which is a comfortable amount of room if you want space to breathe but not too much that you have to shout at someone across the sofa. Both bedrooms are a decent size, and there is plenty of built in storage, so you do not have to live out of boxes. I have seen a lot of places where the balcony is just an afterthought, but here the terrace is where you might want to spend your early evenings. Sometimes you see people out walking or jogging along the canal path below and the whole thing feels a bit relaxed. Maybe you end up reading out there, or just people watching for a while.
When you walk through the building, you know it is one of those modern places that was not rushed. The finishes feel solid without being flashy. The developers, Select Group, already have a reputation for getting all those small details right, so you are not constantly calling maintenance. The lobby is open and light and actually puts you in a good mood when you come home at the end of the day. The pool has what might be one of the best skyline views in Business Bay, if you ask me. I stopped there for a second and forgot my plan for a moment, which probably says a lot. Fitness center looks like somewhere you would actually useโnot just a room with a treadmill. There is a private marina right on the Dubai Canal as well. The staff mentioned some new restaurants and coffee shops are opening nearby soon, so you will not have to go far for your morning pick-me-up or a quiet lunch.
What stands out is how close it is to Downtown Dubai without the nonstop noise that sometimes comes with living right in the middle of it. If you feel like heading out, the Dubai Mall and restaurants and Burj Khalifa are just a quick drive away. Even if you just want to stay in, the area feels lively in a neighborly way. I saw families heading out for a walk, a couple of kids biking around and the security staff chatting with residents like they actually know everyone's names. There is something about the canal side location that just slows everything down in a good way.
This mid floor position means you get the best of the views but not too high where you get dizzy looking out. Natural light most of the day, no harsh glare. The layout just makes sense, and it is easy to imagine living here without constantly worrying about where to put things or bumping into walls. With the short term rental scene in Business Bay doing well right now, this place makes sense for investors too. People are always looking for something with a bit of character and a bit more quiet but right near the action.
You can read all you want but honestly it is one of those apartments you need to feel in person. Take a walk through if you are even a little curious, ask me anything you are wondering about, or let me know if you want to see it at sunsetโthat is when the canal is at its best. At LuxuryProperty.com, we just want your move to feel a little more thoughtful and a lot less rushed.
All the details you need about your favorite property, neatly packed into one handy file.
