Maple At Dubai Hills Estate, Dubai Hills Estate
Some places you walk into and feel like you could just flop on the couch and stay a while. That was the feeling I got at this three bedroom villa in Maple at Dubai Hills Estate. It's the kind of home where you imagine kids chasing each other around the garden or maybe friends sitting out on a terrace as the sun goes down. Honestly, it just felt like someone's next chapter waiting to happen.
So, you start at the quieter edge of Maple 1. That means you get a bit more peace. You notice you are not hearing cars buzzing by. I stood there for a bit and just heard a few birds. The villa is tucked in its own corner, and it's what they call a single row. If you are like me, you appreciate when you don't have neighbours staring into your backyard. There's something a little freer about it.
Parking is easy. Covered parking for two is always handy, and you step right into your own foyer. Not a grand entrance, more like a spot where you drop your keys and take a breath. On one side, there's a powder room that's super handy when guests drop in out of nowhere. The maid's room has an en-suite as well. Some people use this room for help of course, but I have seen it turned into a study or craft space too, honestly.
You walk straight on in and everything just opens up. There's this kitchen that feels like somewhere you'd actually want to cook, not just heat up a takeaway. It opens onto the dining and living area, and the best thing here is all that natural light. Floor to ceiling windows do their job, and it really does feel kind of bright and happy. You see right out to the terrace and garden, so even rainy days are good. People tend to spend most of their time here. It feels like the centre of everything. If you have friends around, just push open the glass doors and suddenly you are grilling outside or keeping an eye on the kids playing. It is really easy to entertain in this space.
The garden out back is bigger than you might expect for something this price. If you like a bit of fresh air, or want to let the kids go wild for a bit, it actually works. Sometimes you see folks having a weekend BBQ out here in Maple. Evenings are quiet, and now and then you see someone walking the dog or kids heading off to the pool.
Stairs just to the side take you up to the bedrooms. Upstairs feels calm, kind of tucked away. The two secondary bedrooms each have built in closets, and both look out over the communityโone even has its own balcony, which I thought was pretty relaxing. Picture stepping out with a coffee in the morning for a bit of quiet before the day gets going. These two bedrooms share a really big bathroom, with separate doors for privacy.
The master bedroom is at the back and you can tell it is meant to be a bit of a retreat. You get your own en-suite bathroom, actually a really decent size, with what people call Jack and Jill sinks. No arguments about space in the morning, or at least less of them. There's a walk in closet, so storage is not something to worry about. The best part for me was the private terrace. Look out over your garden, maybe read a book or just enjoy that quiet spot for a minute.
Then around you, things just work for family life. The swimming pool is a short stroll if you fancy a swim. There is a gym that is rarely crowded and even a basketball court for those after work games. On weekends it does feel a little like a community where everyone slows down. The main entrance is close but far enough that you do not hear noise. Coffee shops are never too far in Dubai Hills Estate and sometimes you forget how convenient these Maple townhouses really are.
You can read about a place online, but you only get the feel for it when you step through the door. If any of this sounds like you, just reach out or pop by for a look.
