The Springs
Some homes just make you settle in a bit slower than usual. This three bedroom townhouse in The Springs kind of does that. I wandered through as the afternoon sun was pouring in from the back and honestly, you can feel how the place just soaks it up. There is a simple, lived in feeling to it. Nothing is too precious, but everything is just well cared for and makes sense.
The entrance itself faces North and I know for some people, having that bit of Vastu compliance is more than just a nice to have. You step through and immediately the light catches your eye. It is soft, not too harsh, and you notice it moving through the living area and over to the kitchen. The kitchen actually feels like somewhere you would cook for real, not just pop in and out between errands. The counter is ready for someone who likes chopping veggies or maybe even baking. And then you just kind of drift toward the sliding doors at the back, where you find yourself in this lovely little private garden. It is proper green out there and the trees along the left edge make the whole thing feel tucked away. I stood out there and took a breath for a second. Kids could bounce out here without feeling like they are in anybody's way, or you could just kick back with a coffee and listen for the birds.
There is also something really nice about being right next to the community pool. I mean right outside, you can literally walk through a gate in your own garden and you are there. It is the sort of thing that makes summer feel a lot easier. You might see neighbours here in their swim gear heading back home with towels, or families gathering on the weekends. And these little shared moments give The Springs such a sense of community. Plus, you can always join in or just stay on your own patch if you want. It is all pretty laid back.
Coming back inside, you will see the living room is open and airy. I could imagine putting a sofa anywhere in here and it would still work. The ground floor also has a guest powder room, a study for when you actually need some quiet, and a maid's room that is a fair size. There are enough spaces that everyone gets their bit of personal time when they need it.
Head upstairs and you will find three real bedrooms, not just afterthoughts with a bed squeezed in. The master suite is especially nice. It has an en suite bathroom that does not feel cramped and enough wardrobe space that storage is sort of effortless. Each bedroom does its own thing though, with built in wardrobes everywhere, and there is a balcony looking out into the community. In the evenings you can see some kids riding bikes, or the lights from other gardens twinkling a little. It is quiet, honestly — you forget you are actually so close to the city.
One thing I like about The Springs is how getting around is no big deal. You just hop out onto Al Khail or SZR. Whether you are working in the Marina or heading downtown, the drive feels easy. The local supermarket is nearby, and there is always a coffee shop in reach. Some folks even walk to the park with their dogs before work. And the lakes here, sometimes you catch a bit of breeze off the water and the place just feels cooler for it.
The asking price for this home is three million two hundred thousand Dirhams. Built up area is about two thousand five hundred fifty nine square feet and the plot is just a bit larger at two thousand eight hundred square. It is a good sized home, but it never feels overwhelming.
Honestly, the only way to see if this one fits what you are looking for is just to come see it. Questions, more details, or if you just want to walk through and take your time, let me know. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to make your next move a little simpler and a lot more comfortable.
