Quortaj, North Village, Al Furjan
Some homes have a certain steadiness about them. That is what you feel stepping into this three bedroom townhouse in North Village, Al Furjan. It is the kind of place where you close the front door behind you and just pause for a second. Maybe you even let out a breath you did not realize you were holding. There is something about the Quortaj style that just feels open and welcoming here and honestly you do not get that everywhere.
So you walk in and right away there is this big foyer. I kept thinking how many townhouses feel tight at the entry but this one gives you space. Off to the side is a powder room that is handy if you have friends popping over. There is also a proper maid's room that is en-suite so no awkward setups there and you get a surprising amount of storage hidden under the stairs which is always useful. Shoes backpacks those random things you never quite know where to put somehow all find their spot.
Now if you actually like to cook this kitchen will not disappoint. You can picture it smelling like coffee in the morning. It is a semi open layout which is nice because you are not totally cut off when you are cooking or making a snack. There is an extractor fan over where the stove would go and it already has space for a double fridge. The counter space is generous so you could have someone rolling out dough while you chop veggies or whatever else happens at dinnertime. The kitchen lets you look right into the dining and living spaces and it all flows toward the back garden. I stood in that spot for a moment and the light really comes in. It honestly invites you to throw open the doors and let the air in especially when the weather is good.
The back garden is already landscaped so you are not looking at a patch of dust or wondering how much it will cost to fix it up. The garden feels private enough for a morning coffee or a chilled weekend barbecue. You will hear birds some mornings and sometimes you even notice neighbors out walking early with their kids or their dogs. It just feels like a lived in community where people say hi if you do.
Upstairs are the bedrooms and this is where the house keeps surprising you. Each bedroom has good space for real beds and not just beds squeezed in for photos. The master is en-suite with its own bathroom so no bumping into each other on school mornings. The other two bedrooms share a big bathroom that has a proper shower and a tub. You can imagine the usual kids splashing or even just taking turns with morning routines. Another thing I liked is that all the rooms have balcony access. I leaned on the rail for a while and you get a lovely community view. In the evenings you can watch the lights come on around you and sometimes you forget your phone for a bit and just stay out there.
Location definitely matters here. North Village in Al Furjan is popular for a reason. Two big community centers are close enough for a quick walk or drive which means shops and restaurants without having to go far. There is a clubhouse if you are into fitness. You see families out and teens biking together sometimes you will even hear cricket on the weekends from the park side. Getting in and out of Al Furjan is pretty easy too which is not always the case elsewhere in Dubai.
This home feels honest. It is well maintained nothing tired or worn out anywhere. The developer has kept the finishes simple but high quality. And it sits on a comfortable plot area so spacing between the homes means you do not feel crammed in. If you want more space later a Type A corner unit is also available but this one has that balanced feel where everything just works.
The only way you really know if it is right for you is to come walk through it. That first moment stepping inside says a lot. If you want to take a look or you have any questions at all feel free to reach out. At LuxuryProperty dot com we try to make every move as laid back as possible.
