Some places immediately make you slow down a bit and just stand there for a second and that is exactly how I felt the first time I set foot inside this three bedroom serviced apartment at the Marriott Harbour Hotel and Suites right on the edge of Dubai Marina. I paused by the entrance and you get that quiet hum from all the city lights and the yachts outside but everything inside just feels soft and quiet. It is honestly bigger than you expect at over two thousand square feet. The kind of space where you can stretch out on the carpet after a long day with the Marina skyline just outside both balconies.

You will probably notice the way the sunlight sneaks through the windows in the mornings. If you are even a little bit of a morning person I promise it is worth opening all the curtains and watching the city wake up. Those high ceilings also make a difference. There is a real openness in the living area plus the marble under your feet and then that really cushy carpet in some rooms. If you appreciate a kitchen that is not just tucked in a corner, this one feels bigger than most and actually closed off, so smells and sounds stay where you want them. It is got two doors which just makes things easier, especially if you like having friends over or even if you just want that quiet cup of coffee before everyone else is awake.

The bedrooms all have their own bathrooms which I know sounds like a small detail but once you have tried it you really do not want to go back. It is perfect if you have guests or family with you. And the maid's room is tucked away so it does not get in the way of your space. You get two parking spaces but honestly you can go plenty of days without ever touching your car. This place is right in the heart of Dubai Marina. Stepping outside you have the Marina Walk there is pretty much always something going on. I have watched people walking their dogs or couples stopping at the little gelato spots. Even in the evenings you see kids biking and families out for a stroll. It just feels lived in even with all the five star touches.

And the best bit is living here means you do not really worry about the day to day stuff. Marriott runs the building like a hotel so you get actual hotel services. That means valet, someone at the lobby always saying good morning, the whole works. You get your room cleaned, laundry and even late night room service if you wish. There is a great gym which I walked through and actually saw people using not just machines for show. The pool looks out over the Marina too so there is a view when you swim and if you prefer to really unwind the spa is right there.

Food wise you are spoiled. The building has three different restaurants. Sometimes I will just stop by the Counter Culture Cafe for a sandwich and a coffee and you will probably find your own little favorite there. On evenings you might want something special the Observatory Bar and Grill upstairs is worth a visit even just for the city views you get at sunset. You really do not get tired of it I promise.

The apartment comes fully serviced and with all bills included. The only thing you really need is a month for the tourist formalities and pack your bags. You can keep it simple, move in and start enjoying right away.
