Volante, Business Bay
Some apartments make you pause right at the door. That happens at this three bedroom apartment at Volante Tower in Business Bay. I walked in and the first thing that hit me was the sheer sense of space. You do not always get that in the city. It just feels open and calm somehow. You get over five thousand square feet here so there is a lot to take in. The living area is honestly one of my favorites in this apartment. There is that feeling where you can actually picture friends over or maybe a slow weekend morning with your coffee on the sofa and the city just gently moving outside the window.
Speaking of windows, they wrap almost right around the place from floor to ceiling. I stopped and just watched the boats drift by on the Canal for a while. It is one of those views you do not get tired of. The Burj Khalifa pops up in a few corners too. Imagine watching the city lights in the evening with those big windows open and a quiet breeze sneaking in. That is something you do not really get from photos.
And the finish, well, you will probably notice it is a bit special. The floors and even parts of the walls are this clean Jordanian limestone. Zebrano wood gives the rooms a bit of warmth and you spot these nice touches of Italian travertine stone in a few places. You can just tell someone cared when they designed this place. Honestly, even if you are not one for material names it just feels classy but still very livable.
Now the kitchen, there is the main one out front looking over the living space and another tucked away. The front kitchen feels like you could really cook there, not just for show. The back kitchen is where you can hide what you are actually making if guests drop by unexpectedly. Plus, there is proper storage so it never feels cluttered.
Beds and baths are all genuinely roomy. Nothing feels squeezed. Each bedroom has views, a bit of storage and that quiet feeling you hope for when you want to wind down at the end of the day. You do have a terrace as well. It is surprisingly spacious for an apartment and again those Canal views make it tempting to grab a book and just sit outside for a while.
Technology is all sorted. There is smart home tech to sort out the lighting and temperature and all that, so no more wandering around adjusting things on the wall. It just works and you kind of forget it is even there most of the time.
The building is honestly a bit of a treat. Downstairs, the lounge always has that hotel lobby calm and there is a nice little café that seems to have someone reading or catching up on emails most afternoons. You have a gym that actually has enough room, a spa for that random Thursday when you need a break, and an outdoor pool that catches the sun. There is even a small theatre that you might use more than you think. And the boardwalk downstairs along the Canal is a nice surprise. Sometimes you see joggers in the morning or kids on bikes in the safe zone in the evenings.
You are right in Business Bay here, but Downtown Dubai is only a few minutes away, and honestly it is easy to just pop over to the Dubai Mall or grab dinner by the fountains when you feel like it. Stores and restaurants line the boardwalk so you are never far from a good cup of coffee or a place for lunch.
If you are looking for something that feels more like a real home and less like a showpiece, this one is worth seeing. Volante does not have many units like this. Best thing is to see if it fits the way you want to live. Let me know if you want to look around, just set a date and I will show you around at your own pace.
