The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa, Jumeirah Beach Residence
Sometimes you walk into a place and even before you look around at the details there is this calm you feel. I remember taking the elevator up to the thirty ninth floor at The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa and as soon as I stepped into this three bedroom apartment the sound of the city faded and everything was just sky and sea. The light coming through the floor to ceiling windows almost makes you forget that you are actually inside. There is a feeling of being right on the edge of Dubai where the beach and the horizon stretch out forever and you can actually watch the water change color right from your balcony. You will probably want to pause at the entrance for a moment just to take in the way the space opens up.
One thing that stands out straight away is the way every single room feels like it has its own secret view. The master bedroom sits right at the oval tip of the building so the views here are something else. You wake up and the first thing you see is the Palm or sometimes the Marina when the light catches the buildings in just the right way. You get in built wardrobes that actually feel usable for once and the ensuite bathroom has a comfortable feel. There is also a proper balcony which becomes your own little morning ritual spot for coffee or those evenings where you just let the breeze in. The other two bedrooms are set apart on the other sides of the apartment so if you have kids or guests there is a bit of privacy for everyone. Each of those rooms has big windows and ensuite bathrooms that do not feel like an afterthought. There is good fitted wardrobe space too. I remember leaning out just a little on one of the balconies and you can really hear the sea some mornings.
If you take a walk into the main living area it is hard not to be drawn to what is outside. The living room faces the water so even if you are just reading or on a quick video call you feel connected to the beach and the views somehow never get old. The balcony here is set up for sunsets and honestly even if you are not one to take lots of photos you will probably end up with a few on your phone. On some days you can look down and spot kids playing near the shore or people just starting their jogs as the sun comes up. The kitchen is tucked in but still open enough that you could have friends over and still be part of the conversation while you cook. It actually feels like a place where you might want to try making a family recipe or even just put together a quick breakfast before heading out.
Every finish here just feels gentle and easy to keep up with no over the top showiness but more a sense that you can move in and settle straight away. The natural light is probably what you will find most inviting. In the afternoon it really makes you want to just pull up a chair by the window and watch the world go by.
Living at The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa means you also get that bit extra in terms of lifestyle. There is a pool on the podium level that actually gets sun almost all day so morning or afternoon swims are always an option. The fitness centre does not feel cramped at all and there are a few dining or coffee spots just downstairs so grabbing something quick is easy. There is also a landscaped exterior where you sometimes see families out for a walk or somebody with a yoga mat at sunrise. The private beach really is private which is kind of rare in Jumeirah Beach Residence. Some days I have found myself just sitting at the edge of the sand with hardly anyone around.
You get all the support you might expect from The Address in terms of housekeeping and concierge if you want to make life simple or just focus on the good bits. There is space here for a main home but just as much for anyone after a second place by the sea. The energy feels settled and welcoming not flashy.
Best thing is there is no real way to know if a home feels right until you walk through it yourself. If you want to see how this apartment at The Address Jumeirah Resort and Spa really feels for you get in touch. I am always happy to show you around or answer any questions. At LuxuryProperty.com we just want your next move to feel like the right one.
