Park Gate Residences, Al Kifaf
Some homes just have this way of making you breathe in a little slower as soon as you open the door. That is what happened when I walked into this three bedroom apartment at Park Gate Residences in Al Kifaf. You are looking out right onto Zabeel Park so there is always some green outside the window and you get that feeling of space you do not always find right in Dubai. Honestly I just found myself pausing by the glass for a moment kind of soaking it all in. The skyline off in the distance does its thing and the sunlight pouring in seems to change the mood from morning to evening.
The place is set up to feel both fresh and warm which is not as common as you might think. You will notice straight away the interior design is more lively than stiff. There are these warm pops of color and textures that actually make you want to touch the surfaces not just look at them. It does not have that cold feel you sometimes get with new apartments. And the best thing is how open everything feels. The living space actually feels big enough that you could have people over for dinner without everyone bumping into each other. The kitchen is not shoved into a corner either. It is right there as part of the home. The counters feel solid and even if you are just using the toaster most mornings it still feels like somewhere you could cook an actual meal if you felt like it. You can see out over the park from here too so you are never really cut off from what is going on outside. I can see kids swinging at the park most afternoons and every now and then there is someone walking a little dog below.
Bedrooms here do not feel boxed in which I really liked. If you are anything like me you want a place that feels restful and this works. There is enough wardrobe space you do not need to worry about storage which honestly saves a lot of hassle. The en suite bathrooms are designed with a little more thought than just being practical you have decent showers and everything feels modern without being too showy. Even though you are in a new building it does not feel soulless. Sometimes you almost forget your phone and just watch the light shift over the park.
One of my favorite small things is the way the floor to ceiling windows catch the sky so at sunset the whole apartment just kind of glows and you do not really need anything else on. Plus being up in the towers you always get a breeze if you crack a window for a bit. Some evenings I just stood there and watched the city wind down. It is easy to get around too. Whether you are heading to Downtown or Dubai Mall or Jumeirah Beach it is quick. The metro is a short stroll and you are right between Old Dubai and the newer side so you get the best mix of city life. Sheikh Zayed Road is close enough that you do not feel disconnected but you are not right on top of the busiest traffic either.
And there are the building perks you would expect. The health club is actually used by residents so it does not feel empty and awkward. The swimming pool is on a landscaped podium area. I have seen people reading by the water and friends enjoying coffee in the shade. Gourmet dining options are around but sometimes all you want is a café that is easy for a lazy breakfast and you have that here. The community itself is surprisingly calm. Some evenings you see neighbors out for a walk. The supermarket is not far either so you can just head down if you forget milk or feel like grabbing something last minute.
If you have been after a real home in Dubai with park views and city convenience this place might just do it for you. It just feels easy and that is rare. The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you want to check it out or just have some questions I am always around. At LuxuryProperty.com we just want your next step to feel as comfortable as possible.
