Damac Heights, Dubai Marina
Some places just grab your attention before you even realise it. Up here on the 37th floor at Damac Heights in Dubai Marina, it is one of those spots. I remember walking in and kind of stopping by the entryway for a bit. You cannot really see the water straight away but you feel it. The light inside just seems a little different. Maybe it is the way the sea sparkles through the windows or maybe it is because everything feels so open with nothing blocking your view.
This apartment has three bedrooms and what stands out is how open and bright everything feels. I wandered over to the kitchen first because it is right there to your right as you walk in. Kitchens in towers like this can sometimes just be for show, but honestly this one feels like you could actually cook in it. The appliances are right where you need them, nice and simple setup, square layout so it is easy to move around and there is just enough space for anyone who enjoys making proper meals. You could easily imagine coming in with your groceries and just settling straight in.
Then you get to the lounge. It is a proper open area, like the kind where you can see everything from the sofa. Picture yourself with friends or family on a Friday night while you can still peek out toward the skyline or just open those big glass doors to the balcony. And here is the thing, that balcony is huge. I ended up just standing outside for a while to watch people walking along Marina Walk below. The views really are something. On one side there is the deep blue of the Arabian Sea and turn your head a bit and there is that iconic stretch of Dubai Marina, full of cruising boats and those little coffee shops that start waking up just after sunrise.
Bedrooms are always important and here they are set up so you actually want to spend time in them. All three get so much sunshine you might find yourself waking up early without even meaning to. The furniture is simple, clean lines and nothing over the top. Feels easy to unwind. The master bedroom is my favourite. It has its own private balcony and honestly just the idea of having your morning coffee looking out at the water is kind of special. Sometimes you might catch the glow of sunset over the sea or the twinkle of city lights reflecting on the Marina if you stay up late enough.
Bathrooms all have this modern look to them. Walk in and everything has that soft hotel vibe but without being too showy. Water pressure is solid and by now you probably know how much that matters. The fixtures and units feel like they will last too. That is especially true for Damac Heights. Other residents I have met here seem to like that about the place. It is solid but not trying too hard.
Facilities in this tower do not disappoint. There is a gym that actually gets used by residents so you will not feel like you are the only one working out. Same with that infinity pool. I have dropped by on weekends and there are always a few people having a swim or just relaxing by the edge. You barely hear any traffic noise up on this floor. The vibe is chilled out most of the day and evenings can feel almost quiet although you are right above the action in Dubai Marina.
Life here means the Marina is at your feet. Quick walk downstairs, you are in the middle of it all. You might see families out walking the dogs or kids riding bikes in the evenings. If you like to stay active you have the Marina as your running track and the tram stop is not far either so getting to other parts of Dubai is pretty easy. Plus you have grocery stores right around the corner and there is always a new restaurant to try if you do not feel like cooking.
Honestly you just get a feeling about some spaces. The only way to know if this three bedroom apartment at Damac Heights Dubai Marina is the right one for you is to come step inside.
