3 Bedroom Apartment in Al Bateen Residences, Jumeirah Beach Residence

Some homes just sort of catch you when you walk in and that happened to me the first time I set foot in this three bedroom apartment at Al Bateen Residences right in Jumeirah Beach Residence. Almost before I realised it I had stopped in the entry and looked out across the big windows and those views. Bluewaters Island is right there across the water looking nearly finished these days and you get this stretch of open ocean right in front of you. Honestly it just feels a little bit like the kind of Dubai you see on postcards. The sounds outside are hushed. Sometimes you hear a bit of the waves or a gull overhead and that is about it.

Inside feels just as open. The parquet flooring is new and soft under your feet which makes a difference especially on summer mornings when the sun is coming through all those tall glass panes. The layout just works. You can head from the kitchen and out to the living room without even thinking about it and honestly the kitchen here is not just for show. I remember leaning against the counter and thinking about how you would actually cook something for real and not just open a ready meal. You have these proper built in appliances and loads of storage plus the finish feels solid and clean. There is even a window over the sink which lets the daylight pour in while you are making coffee or washing up.

Bedrooms are sort of tucked to one side so when you close the door you really get your own quiet space. What I liked is each one comes with those built in wardrobes that make sorting out your clothes easy. Every bedroom actually opens onto a balcony and that means you get to step out early in the morning right from your own room and just watch the sea or take in a bit of the breeze. The main balcony is huge. Sometimes you see someone out there with a cup of tea just kind of watching the world go by and it does not feel crowded even on a busy weekend.

Bathrooms are all en suite so there is none of that awkward waiting around or carrying things down the hall. The fittings are proper premium style as well. It feels like someone actually paid attention here and you notice it most when you are just starting or ending your day. Hot showers work every time and there is enough space to actually stretch out a bit.

One of those things you start to feel living at Al Bateen is the bit of extra breathing room you get. Residents get private beach access just for them and honestly walking down in the mornings with the skyline and Ain Dubai observation wheel off to the side is kind of unbeatable. If you need to move around you've got a jogging and cycling track that runs right along the water or you can just walk the JBR Walk which is about as lively as it gets. Some evenings you will hear kids biking along as families head to get ice cream or pizza nearby. The coffee shops are close plus shopping and all the little conveniences are just steps away.

For days when you want to stay home there is a really nice open pool deck which is never too busy Jacuzzi gym steam room even a sauna if you want to take it easy after work. Kids have their own play area so families do not have to give anything up. Retail outlets are on site as well. Honestly everything just feels easy going here.
