Sometimes you can just feel that you are in the middle of something special. That is exactly what happened when I walked into this studio at The Palm Tower right in the heart of Palm Jumeirah. Honestly you are greeted with these wide windows and that sea view is the very first thing you notice. It is almost hard not to just stand there for a minute as the light shifts across the room and the sea keeps changing shades. Even on a quiet afternoon you might find yourself just sitting by the window and watching boats glide across Dubai Harbour or that giant wheel on Bluewaters Island in the distance.

There is a restaurant and a viewing deck up there too so you can make a night of it even without leaving home.

For anyone who gets a kick out of architecture this building is different. The way it stands above the Palm is sort of iconic now and you get to call that address yours. All the finishes inside the studio feel solid. Premium materials underfoot and those details in the fittings show real thought went in. The atmosphere at home is a bit of a retreat from the outside world. It really works whether you want to make this your permanent place or just keep it as a spot for quick escapes from the city routine. Everything is move in ready so you can just bring your suitcase and get going. Residents get their own parking spot which is great for anyone driving but honestly taxis and the monorail are always simple around here so you really do not have to use the car much.

Palm Jumeirah needs no introduction. You get the bars and restaurants the beach is on your doorstep and world class retail down the lift. The community vibe is real with people jogging near the water in the mornings and families stopping for ice cream in the evenings. I have even seen spontaneous volleyball games break out on the sand at Club Vista Mare.
