La Avenida 2, La Avenida, Arabian Ranches
Some homes just have a way of making you take a breath when you walk in. This six bedroom villa in La Avenida, Arabian Ranches, is that kind of place. The street itself is pretty quiet with only nine villas, so even the drive here feels different from some neighborhoods. You notice it is a golf course community straight away because you can see the green rolling out behind the property and the clubhouse is close enough to walk if you want to grab a coffee early or meet friends for dinner.
The front door is one of those wide archways that feels like it should have someone always welcoming you home. When I stepped inside, the foyer was bright and you just feel the scale of the place right away. There is formal and family space split off to either side, so it is easy to imagine bigger gatherings or just sinking into a sofa with your favorite people. It is not a house that takes itself too seriously though—it feels warm. The main living and dining rooms open into the garden and honestly, I kept opening the doors and walking in and out because the air is just different out there and the view of the golf course is sort of hypnotic. You can hear the quiet click of a golf ball every so often and sometimes you see kids biking along the paths as the sun is setting.
In the kitchen, this is not a show kitchen made just to impress. There is a big island bar that actually says come and sit while someone cooks. The breakfast area is tucked into a corner with high vaulted ceilings so your mornings could be peaceful and bright. There is a guest suite on the ground floor that feels private, so if you have visitors a lot or work from home sometimes, this room gets a lot of natural light, so I could see it working as a really good office.
Heading up the staircase—by the way, I stood there and looked up at the banister, which is actually artful but not flashy—you get to the main bedrooms. The master is special. Just has that right amount of distance from the rest, and his and hers closets so your mornings might be a bit easier. The view from the balcony gets the pool shimmering in the foreground and then the golf course right beyond, so in the evenings you almost forget your phone out there. The upstairs family area is bigger than most and has a comfortable vibe, the kind of spot where you can toss some cushions down and just hang out together. There is also a little pantry upstairs, which is clever because you do not have to go down just to grab a snack while watching TV with the kids.
Each of the other bedrooms has its own balcony, and that touch really brings in the outdoors. You will find the bathrooms look fresh and have been looked after, honestly you do not see that everywhere.
The backyard is a bit of a dream if you like to entertain or just relax. The pool is temperature controlled, which means you can use it any time of year, and you get a proper BBQ area with a shaded spot so outdoor dinners are easy. I noticed the garden is positioned so when the sun gets strong in the afternoon, there is always somewhere cool to sit. Sometimes, all you hear is the breeze and the odd laugh from the clubhouse.
You can tell the owners have cared for this place—it is all very tidy and you feel that nothing is too overdone. Arabian Ranches itself is one of those communities that just feels established with lots of greenery, families out for walks, kids playing in the park and the golf club nearby if you want a round or just to people watch from the cafe.
All in all, it is a big home with a lot of comfort built in. The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you have questions, or just want to walk through, reach out any time. At LuxuryProperty.com, we try to make your next move feel as comfortable as possible.
