The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences, Amman
Some homes just have a certain air about them and honestly this one bedroom apartment at The Ritz Carlton Residences in Amman has that from the minute you step inside. You know how some places feel like they belong in a magazine but never really feel easy enough to call home. Well this place is honestly both. Sometimes you catch yourself just looking out the window for a while and you almost forget your phone altogether. Sky starts to go golden over Amman and it turns soft and quiet inside.
So yes you are right in the city and yet it does not feel rushed at all. The Ritz Carlton Hotel is right next door so there is that little hum of city life if you want it. But plenty of real calm too in your own space. Even on the busiest days it is so easy to head downstairs to the residents lounge. You might find a few people with coffee or just reading. Most of the time it is quiet enough to actually think or even to work from there. If movies are more your thing the private cinema on the ground floor sort of makes staying in feel even better than a night out. Sometimes you hear a laugh through the walls when the film gets good and you remember how close home life and fun can be.
The apartment actually feels bigger than what you would think for a one bedroom. Open and connected. No weird layouts or wasted nooks at all. The Poggenpohl kitchen starts off looking so pristine but it does not feel too precious to use. A lot of high end places in Amman have those kitchens that seem only for show but here the Miele appliances actually make you want to cook. The space fits Sunday breakfasts or dinners for two. And the way the living room flows right out from the kitchen is just easy. Even if your hands are full with groceries or late night snacks it all sort of makes sense here.
Bedrooms at The Ritz Carlton Residences have a way of making you slow down without even noticing. That Listone Giordano flooring underfoot just makes you want to pad around barefoot for a bit and the wardrobes by Poliform genuinely help you keep things tidy. Not much thinking required. Every bit of the bathroom tries to make itself comfortable for you. The Villeroy and Boch fixtures look sleek but honestly they just feel relaxing and calm. There are small things too like Dornbracht and Lefroy Brooks fittings. You probably would not spot it at first glance but when you turn on the water you get why it matters.
Heating and cooling is totally taken care of by the Daikin VRV air conditioning system. It just works. No buzzing or strange noises and you barely have to think about it. The Crestron smart home setup might sound like something out of a commercial but it actually means you can handle all the lights and curtains from bed. Sometimes you wake up and change it all before your feet hit the floor. You will spot there is never any clutter around. Everything just sits where it makes sense.
Downstairs feels a bit like living in its own little world. If you have kids or friends dropping by the children's gaming room is usually lively in the afternoons. If you are working from home here the board room works better than most offices I know. The fitness center is the real deal. There are actual gym goers and you may even chat with someone new at the indoor pool. There is even a beauty salon which is genuinely handy.
If you drive to The Ritz Carlton Residences you will find tons of parking and an electric car charging station too. There is an ATM on site, a car wash and even a small store. Sometimes you do not need to leave for days at a stretch. When you want to get out Amman's cafes and restaurants are just a short drive. Plus the hotel's outdoor pool is open for residents and it feels just a little bit like a holiday any time you are there.
This is not the flashiest spot in Amman and I think that is a good thing. It suits someone who likes calm more than a big show. Someone who wants a bit of community but not too much noise. You get all the upside of The Ritz Carlton name but once you close your door it is really just home.
The only way to know if it feels right is to come see it. If you have any questions or just want to walk through let me know any time. At LuxuryProperty.com we try to make your next move feel as comfortable as possible.
