Some places do not feel like a rental flat or any old apartment straight away. This one bedroom apartment at The Address Boulevard in Downtown Dubai just has that quiet sense of being cared for. When I first stepped in my shoes squeaked on the white tiles a bit which actually made me smile. It just feels lived in but in a good way. Everything here is furnished and you do not need to do much before moving in. There is a wide balcony where you get an open view right to the Burj Khalifa and honestly sometimes at sunset you could probably sit out there with coffee and just stare for a long time. I did that for a moment. There are places you can forget your phone pretty easily.

The living space really lets your eyes slide from the kitchen to the dining part to the lounge without sharp stops. It all blends together. The light inside has something to do with that. I like how there is an actual study table, not just a piece of glass or a shelf pretending to be a work spot. If you ever work from home or just need a spot to write out weekend plans it feels like it would work. The kitchen itself smells faintly of new appliances and it is not the usual small hotel type. There is plenty of counter for actual food prep if you are into cooking real meals instead of just making toast. The cupboards are right where you expect them. If you do not want to cook there is always food right downstairs. That is easy here.

The bedroom has this broad carpet that feels soft on bare feet. Built in wardrobes are actually big enough so you do not have to fight for storage and honestly the room does not feel cramped even with the big bed in there. Because you also have balcony access from here you could step out with a book before bed. Floor to ceiling glass gives you plenty of light in the morning too if you are an early riser. The bathroom is cool and clean smelling because of the marble. Chrome fittings and that special spa water pressure. You will want to take your time in there for sure.

The Address Boulevard itself has a reputation in Downtown Dubai but you can see why when you are actually inside. The place keeps quiet even though you are right in the center of the city. There are three pools and sometimes you notice families in one part and people just floating quietly in another. At the spa it is not crowded and the staff always say hello. If you want to let off steam or just get a massage after work, you just walk down the lift. For little ones there is always something at the Qix Club. I have seen kids playing and laughing there while parents keep an eye out from the lounge. If you ever decide to eat out but do not want to go far the restaurant downstairs smells really tempting at dinnertime and there are different options for every taste.

Step outside the building and Downtown Dubai is all around you. You can walk to places like the Dubai Mall or grab a coffee late at night and feel safe. Evenings tend to be lively with people walking and sometimes you see families strolling after dinner.

Whether you want something that feels private or something in the middle of everything this one bedroom apartment combines both. It just feels easy to settle in and make it your own.
