There is security around and honestly it feels safe even if you are coming home late from dinner at Dubai Mall just across the way.

Downtown Dubai is always alive but it is easy to escape into your own world in this apartment. The coffee shop down the road is open late. People are walking their dogs in the evenings. Some days I just wandered out for fresh air and ended up watching the fountains from below or exploring the shops without planning to.
