Studio One, Dubai Marina
Some places just have a certain calm the moment you walk in. This one bedroom apartment at Studio One in Dubai Marina gave me that feeling right away. I actually stopped by the window for a minute and just watched the boats in the water. There is something about having the Marina spread out below you that always makes mornings feel slower and evenings feel softer.
You will notice a kind of fresh energy in Studio One. It is a newer spot along the west end of Dubai Marina and young people really like living here. Sometimes you see couples out walking in the evening or someone heading down to the café in shorts with a laptop. If you like that easy going city life where everything is right downstairs coffee shops gyms the Marina Mall around the corner you will honestly enjoy this building. The lobby is simple but feels upscale and I think it sets the tone for the rest of the place.
Walking into the apartment the light is the very first thing you feel. The floor to ceiling glass is more than just a design thing. You get sunlight from sunrise till about late afternoon then it cools down and the city starts glowing out there. And if you like to be outside a bit the balcony is wide enough to just sit with a book watching the water and maybe the odd yacht going by. On the inside they went for a kind of monochrome style with some wood touches here and there so it all comes off pretty relaxed. There is not too much fuss. The floors feel good under bare feet and there is enough space to dance around a bit if you are cooking while your music plays.
Actually the kitchen has a real ready to cook feel about it. You can tell it is not just for show. Counters are a good height and storage is smart so you are not constantly reaching or bending. I have seen some apartments where the kitchen is boxed in but here it all flows into the living and dining space so you could easily talk to friends while you cook or just keep an eye on a movie playing.
There is only one bedroom but it feels open because of the same glass panels. Sometimes you wake up and forget you are in a city because it is so quiet up here even with the marina below. You will also notice there is lots of built in storage and the ensuite bathroom is honestly more spacious than you would guess. Good water pressure too. Little things like that matter in the end.
Downstairs the gym is not one of those tiny token gyms you see in older towers. This one feels modern open and gets early morning light so it makes you want to actually go. The swimming pool deck looks out toward the water and gets a breeze most days so it is a good place to relax or meet the neighbors. Even the sauna feels inviting.
Of course location is one of the best things. Living at Dubai Marina you are always close to the nice part of town. The boardwalk has so many places to eat you almost run out of days to try them all and weekends mean you might walk to the beach or catch a movie at the mall. Sometimes you will see folks jogging in the morning or kids biking past and you do feel like you are living right inside the city not just beside it.
Honestly this apartment would suit someone who wants less stress in day to day life. Everything is here but you never feel crowded and the views are always there to calm you down. It would make a perfect base in Dubai if you travel lots or just want a new start in Marina.
The only way to know if it gives you that right feeling is to walk through. Reach out anytime if you are curious or want to pop by. At LuxuryProperty.com we really just want your next move to feel as comfortable and honest as it can be.
